Kinsale is one of my favourite places in Ireland, we love the chilled vibe of the town, the quirky streets and shops, fantastic coffee shops, bakeries, craft shops and of course its famous restaurants. Kinsale is a wonderful town, fantastic independent bars and restaurants, lovely unique boutique shops. Architecture is exceptional, literally is something for everyone. The only negative is it’s far too popular! Very busy and hard to park, I’m a dog owner and very difficult to experience the whole experience like having meals or shopping as most businesses don’t allow dogs except guide or assisted dogs. We were told Kinsale was one of the best destinations in Ireland, it’s quite nice but not great, yes some top restaurants like Man Friday and Fishy Fishy. Also a couple of good pubs like Jim Edwards. It could be heaps better, many places closed. Nothing of interest on the water like most Irish seaside towns. Fabulous town,market day is Wednesday ,Fabulous street food,and jewellery stall, Take a drive to kinsale head fab views Also Charles Fort, Kinsale town very colourful,love the cobbled streets lots of curious shops,something for all travellers. Kinsale is a town with a lot of important history.
