Rosie's Cottage, hotel in Moville

Offering a garden and sea view, Rosie's Cottage is located in Moville, 30 km from Walls of Derry and 33 km from Buncrana Golf Club.

Rosies cottage was so warm and welcoming, was like a home away from home. The house was immaculate. Rosie had the heating on for us arriving and had left us some essentials like bread, milk and even fresh fruit. Hassle free booking and excellent communication.

Moville & surrounding area has lots of good places to eat in (e.g. Rosatos in Moville, Kealy's Seafood Bar in Greencastle and The Point Bar in Magilligan - take the short ferry trip across from Greencastle for it). Rosatos also do takeaways. The two supermarkets in the town also offer a wide variety of food, with hot and cold deli counters etc. There are several lovely beaches nearby (e.g. Tremone beach, Shrove and Culdaff). While there are some big tourist attractions, like Malin Head, don't forget to check out the lovely Glenevin Waterfall near Clonmany & nearby Tullagh strand, maybe en route to/from Ballyliffin. Lovely gift shop too in Carndonagh, which has a very good Supervalue supermarket. Don't leave Inishowen without visiting Wild Ireland too!

A nice little place with good places to eat and enough to do in the locality - pitch and putt, beaches, good walking route, pottery design etc. Venues like Rosatos and the Cosy Cottage provide good eating options. Locals are very friendly and helpful.

Patrick The Owner was EVERYTHING One could want in an Admirable Host, Informative, Helpful, Knowledgeable and everything one could hope for in an Owner he even booked us into the best Restaurant in Moville that was way above our expectations. Our Only Regret was that we could not stay there for at least a week as we had prebooked into another B&B in Sligo for next day! We have already planned to return to this Remarkable Historic Home with the Best Host we ever had in all our Travels around the World. P.S. We have no pecuniary Interest in this Home and this is just our Sincere Thoughts on a Beautiful Stay. Thanks To Patrick.

Our hosts were very kind and helpful, the location is perfect for anyone visiting County Donegal, especially Inishowen Peninsula as all the famous landmarks are within 30min drive. The place is clean and very well kept and the price is adequate, couldn't ask for more. Me and my girlfriend had a great time there, highly reccomend.

Everything in the B&B was lovely, from the owners to all the spaces. I don't think I've ever met hosts as welcoming and kind as them. I definitely recommend this place to anybody who is doing the Wild Atlantic Way or simply around the Moville area for an event and likes a spacious cosy B&B, tasty breakfast, and incredible hosts.

Patrick was a wonderful host. The beautifully restored Admirality House was so cosy and homely. We had a wonderful sleep. Patrick went above and beyond to make us gluten free breakfasts. The breakfasts (both hot and continental) were better than you would get at a hotel. I would love to come back and stay here again.
