A 25-minute drive from the Dead Sea, the Yehelim Boutique Hotel lies on the outskirts of Arad. It offers spacious rooms with a spa bath and private balcony with views of the desert. This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. The people are so lovely, helping you wherever and whenever you need them to. It is very clean & Decorated with a very nice sense of style. At breakfast a very nice and very good variety of local specials are served. And the coffee is fantastic.
Dead Sea Desert's Edge in Arad provides accommodations with barbecue facilities and a terrace. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a playground. Gili is a wonderful host! He was very very welcoming, spontaneous and fun to be around. He took us to catch flash floods straight when we arrived, made tea, got us coffee later when we sat out on the balcony. The room is also very nice, very well equipped, super clean. and the view is just like in the pictures! Thank you, Gili!

newly renovated - super clean - well equipped - amazing jacuzzi - most welcoming We had a lovely stay at Bashiri's place! Very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel most welcome immediately. Do rely on the pizza recommendation :) Enjoyed the jacuzzi at night after a long tour in the desert - most delightful! We will come back & stay for longer!!
Clean very pleasant town. Balanced, not too busy but not too quiet. Plenty shops, malls eateries etc. Absolutely beautiful walks and viewpoints basically in the town. Would very highly recommend for a young family looking to hike a bit and chill.
I would love to come back at a different time of year. Masada is close by and is not to be missed. It was completely different from what any of us expected. Arad is also a quirky, fun town. The artist market was mostly closed but the few studios that were open were quite fun to visit. Make reservations at places you want to eat - there aren't too many and during busy times, you may not be able to get in. It's not far from the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi, the Negev and Judean deserts - I could have explored so much more.
Arad as a town has not too much to offer. However, Arad is a great starting point for touring nature and antiquities. In less than half an hour you get to Tel Arad, a reconstructed archeological site of importance, as is Krayot, one of the putative places that Judah Iskaryotes is supposed to hail from. Har Amassah, a long ridge with typical northern flora and fauna is just next door. A beautiful drive down to the Dead Sea is also an attractive option
It is a very convenient place to stay if you want to walk up to Masada from the same side the Romans came from to find the nearly empty fortification. It is reasonable close to the dead sea and far more comfortable climate wise. Tel Arad is and Israeli National Park and is worth a visit if you enjoy learning about the history of the region.
Arad, a young town in the Negev, a excellent center to stay over night and continue your trip further down in the Negev, down to Eilat, to the Dead Sea and to other surroundings. Amazing desert views and an artist center
We came for 1 night after a night partying in the desert. The host Dana was amazing, did everything to ensure our stay will be perfect. The vila itself is brand new, suprisingly big, the beds are super comfortable we slept 12 hours. The large jacuzzi with the desert view is defenitly one of the place's highlights. Dana prepares the most perfect brakefests very reach and tasty. Overall, one of the best places we slept in Israel. Totaly worth it. Will defintley come back again.
1. Extremely clean room, Number 3👍 2. Lovely garden 3. Excellent location for visiting the Roman Siege Steps side of Masada. 4. Good location for visiting the Dead Sea and the Snake Trail and Cable Car side of Masada 5. There is a public bus stop heading to the city center of Arad nearby for those who do not arrive by automobile. 6. Parking outside of the guest house is easy. 7. The neighborhood is safe.
The location is on a nice side street in Arad - close to everything, but far enough away to provide beautiful views of the desert. The room itself is a little tight space-wise, but the porch more than makes up for it. It is definitely a romantic spot and we spent our evenings on the swing looking out at the desert and in the mornings we had breakfast. We definitely hope to stay there again.
If you're looking for a homestay in Arad, look no further. Here, you get a big and comfortable independent room, fully equipped, with a private bathroom and a small kitchen attached. The host is very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is quiet, just perfect for a relaxing break.
A new area of Arad with mountain views around. One can feel a positive energy of the house and the area. There is a nice small park in the nearest of the house.
We liked the location - we wanted to stay at Arad as a starting point day trips both to Masada and the Dead Sea. The host is very friendly.

What an artistic and architectural wonder that Eyal has created! Roomy and spectacular. We watched the sunrise over the desert as we sipped our morning coffee. Be sure to wander the suite and gardens to admire the artistic detail and meticulous design.
