The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in. We saw sooooo many birds. Our guide Rinkesh was very knowledgeable and found so many birds for us. We also saw antelope, deer and a couple of jackal. We decided to walk and were up for the 06.00 opening. We covered about 10km on foot over 4 hours. Wear good shoes or boots if you are going to do this. Rinkesh carried a Japanese telescope with him which was just brilliant for the long distance birds. 1 night stay to visit Bird sanctuary in the morning. We reached early in the morning to Bird Sanctuary - 730 AM and hence could chose good condition bicycles. Plenty of hot water in the shower. A restaurant that is actually functioning. Really friendly staff. Best WiFi I've had in India so far. WiFi DOES work in the rooms as well. They could probably benefit from changing the wordings on booking.com where it says WiFi in the common areas. This resort is very conveniently placed right in the midst of the Deeg road and Bharatpur highway making travel to both sides equally convenient. It is a quiet area. We had the executive suite which is a beautiful large room with a lot of sunlight. It was beautiful. The staff were friendly. It's a lovely historic haveli. The hotel has numerous signs warning of monkeys for good reason. When I was on a roof deck a monkey on another building saw me and leaped across to my roof to angrily chase me. I barely slipped inside my room as he chased me downstairs.
