I booked. When i reach the location, they contactrd me over phone and told that booking. com is wrongly did the booking and all rooms are occupied, advised to find any other accommodation. There is nothing to see in Kalpetta. Good place to enjoy workcation. Places to see are at distance from the Kalpetta City. Veg food options are limited and majority of restaurants serves beef. Climate is okay not too hot not too cold. City is clean and green. Good looking houses are everywhere. It’s a good place to enjoy activities. Our initial plan was to Munnar, but we changed plans. The day we entered Wayanad, we were unsure if the choice was right. But it was lots of fun with kids and enjoyed the most. Kalpetta is best location to travel in all direction for sight seeing. I am not sure if we explored enough to comment on restaurants but we didn’t manage to see good ones. So we traveled like 4 KM east to find very good restaurant Newform.
