A place full of energy. People here are warm and live in harmony. There are lots of age old Temples here. The vibe in these temples are at another level. You can easily find bus connectivity literally from anywhere to anywhere. Must visit Aaru Block.

1.The,distance from the city and bus stand,to the lodge was a bit far. 2.kottayam buses are really crowded and they dont behave properly. 3.shops also people don't behave decently.they see us more as trespassers.u pass by their shop,they will quip " Hey what do u want " They should mind their own business. 4.if you wear a gobi tilak they will give u a wicked stare as if I am coming from mars. If gobi tilak is banned here in kottayam,it should be mentioned before entering this city.i will remove it. 5.kottayam is far too crowded.its certainly not a city to visit to chill out or for a tour. There's nothing here to see.just the usual shops roads traffic which is ubiquitous. Kind of grumpy people live here.reminds me of my favorite Garfield. Veg food is non existent in hotels.

Quality of food is very low. There is no good restaurants near railway Station or bus station in the city. The worst experience I ever had regarding food in kottayam. Dirty unhygienic hotels, and charged too high.

Not provided Blanket/toilets unhygine/wifi initially refused with our demand provide password then poor wifi connectivity/for 3 floor only 1 wifi modem/no room phone to call room service/no nearest hotels to eat food have to go far or room boy can go to buy/Room owner not Interest in providing service because it attached to Indrampradam Marriage hall.Better for same amount can get better service in other hotel's

We were surprised but Kottayam is the most Cristian Catholic around Kerala. So instead of temples we found many churches. There are nice residential areas with big and nice houses but the center wasn’t interesting

Liked the town of Kottayam.
Liked the town of Kottayam. It felt calm. We walked from the hotel to the Mall of Joy where we visited the supermarket on the top floor. And then we walked a little further to The Ananda Restaurant for our evening meal.

Still pretty straightforward to get to even without your own vehicle (train or bus to Kottayam and from there 15 min. Tuktuk ride). Lots of things to do, too. The homestay has bicycles, kayaks and a motorboat to do tours in the beautiful surroundings. I did all of it. The prices for Kayak rental and the motorboat tour were very reasonable. The son of the owners managed my stay and was incredibly hospitable and helped me with everything. 100 % recommended.

Incredible service, very clean and nice facilities with outstanding value for money. Vivek was very kind and available to help - he provided all of the relevant information beforehand and was always helpful in directing me towards local attractions. Very easy to get around due to the high number of autorickshaws nearby, and many good restaurants in the area. I would definitely stay here again, cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel is set in a beautiful setting where u can sit leisurely in your own private veranda overlooking the river. Watching fish or baby turtle swim by. Staff were very helpful and friendly. People with mobility issues might find it difficult as there is a steep stairs to your bedroom.
