Everything. The location and the property. The property looked as if the proprietor had taken the comfort of the guests as a priority before it was designed. Specially: 1. The rooms have all the provisions to make us feel very comfortable and relaxed. 2. The staff was par excellence. The food was amazing and everyone handled hospitality so well. 3. Special mention for Shivam and Adrianna and also Nihal who sang so beautifully for us and made our dinner time so special. 4. The chef deserves a thanks for the wonderful food we had especially the Nepali cuisine. 5 . The property is a bird watchers paradise. It's restive and peaceful. 6. Kanchenjunga can be viewed from almost all the rooms on a clear day.

I stayed here on a business‑cum‑leisure trip in August 2024. Beyond the homely feel and comfortable, spotless rooms, the hosts provided excellent travel services—help with itinerary planning, local transport, and seamless check‑in/out. Amaira resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. The location was also good, far from traffic noise and with amazing views. What truly made our stay an exceptional experience was the staff. Ashish and Team are so welcoming and put so much passion into their work. We really enjoyed all the activities, from the morning walk to the evening barbeque by the bonfire. Thanks also to Rupak and Satyam for the great musical entertainment and kitchen staff for the amazing food. We will be back and very much hope that they keep the standard this high!

I had the most memorable and restful stay at 11 Monteviot. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The room was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, offering a scenic view of tea gardens and misty mountains. The bed was cozy, complete with a heated pad and blankets – useful for chilly evenings. One of the highlights was the option to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals made with fresh produce from Tuhina Aunty’s garden. I also can’t forget Ballu, the family dog, who was friendly and welcoming. What truly made my visit unforgettable, though, was the wonderful company. Tuhina Aunty and Parimal Uncle, the owners of 11 Monteviot, were not only warm and inviting but also full of fascinating stories from their life on tea estates. I loved learning about the Indian tea industry over cups of tea and shared dinners. They also offered great recommendations for nearby places to explore and even helped arrange transportation, making my stay feel convenient and also safe. If you’re looking for a cozy getaway, I can’t recommend 11 Monteviot enough. Thank you so much, Tuhina Aunty and Parimal Uncle, for making my visit special. I hope to come back again

Beautifully set up place. In very good condition and thoroughly clean. No mold or dampness in the room. Stunning view of the Kanchenjunga mountain from the rooms and the balconies. Super friendly and helpful owners. Nice location a little up the hill, yet close to the center.
