The staff is very friendly and provided us with welcome snacks. The house exudes a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. A true cozy home ideal for finding refuge on windy and rainy days. Nice 4 beds room, with a pleasant view on the surrounding lands. We choosed Vatnsholt to drive to Landmannalaugar via F225 in the early morning, hike 3 hours, and drive back via F208 north to visit Haifoss in the afternoon. Ending with a dinner at the guesthouse's restaurant. Perfect day, and perfect place ! They also kindly achieve to run laundry between evening and checkout the next day, which is so useful !!

Very clean and comfortable room. Has all ammenities, private bathroom. I also liked the fact that it is off the main road and I could experience autentic icelandir house and watch horses roaming in the field. Loved it. Would stay again

A beautifully charming remodeled old building with perfectly decorated rooms at a peaceful location. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. We also appreciated the kitchen we could use despite a late arrival .

We had an absolutely lovely two-night stay at this charming accommodation in Iceland. The location worked perfectly for our Iceland adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest after our days of exploring this beautiful country. The cabin was really great. Small, but it had everything we could ask for, and more. A lovely handwritten note from the owner and welcome sweets were waiting us! The area around the farm was beautiful, the kids walked around and saw the horses 😊 Everything was really clean and tidy.
