We had a very pleasant stay at Guesthouse Hvítafell. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which was very convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a hot tub available for guests - a lovely option after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, just a short drive to Geosea, which was a must-visit for us and a real highlight of the area. Overall, a welcoming and practical place to stay while visiting this part of Iceland.

This location is a beautiful drive and for our stay it was a beautiful drive to get there in the snow! We had a warm and friendly greeting from Abba, the host. She made us hot tea while we got settled in. We had a very large and comfortable room upstairs with a view of the farm from the side. The lodging has been well taken care of and was immaculate. Our bathroom had a very nice shower with plenty of hot water. We had a nice lounger to relax on after we had dinner in town. Abba prepared and served a delicious Iceland buffet in their lovely dining room. I loved seeing their sheet and goats. It's a great location to view the northern lights. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at the guesthouse Stóru-Laugar. Everything was exactly as expected – clean, cozy, and inviting. Loveeeeed this place! Best place we had! Super cute place very convenient location. And we even had laundry to use and she had some detergent for us! Very comfortable beds and a bunch of kitchen appliances. she even had a microwave, which we didn't find at many of our locations. Host was very nice and checked us in when we arrived late. Parking was right infront .
