Quiet place, good bed, good bathroom (shared), lovely small garden space where to eat. Easy check inn and out. Breakfast was excellent, mo homemade. The host is easygoing and doing his best to make your stay very comfortably. For dinner, there is also a good restaurant with cosy courtyard is Abas, the next town at 2 km away. Thank you Luca! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Where to start?! We had the BEST experience at Casa Murroni in Pau. As soon as I walked in the door I fell in love with the little casseta. With the stone walls and the airy loft, it has such a beautiful atmosphere it felt like living in a fairytale. We stayed five nights and we could have stayed six months! The bedroom is upstairs with tons of sunlight from pretty windows and a skylight. I liked to wake up and look out over the roofs of the village. Pau itself is the sweetest little town with only about 300 people. There is a beautiful forest nearby and we enjoyed the hiking trails there very much, especially the animal sculptures made of tree branches in Bosco da Fiaba, completely magical. The village next door, Ales, is also super nice with a fun little bar called La Pinta with friendly service. Our host, Sergio, showed us so much hospitality during our stay with recommendations. He was very kind and attentive to his guests' needs. A wonderful experience and one of our favorite accomodations of our whole trip, and we've been traveling for 9 weeks! Highly recommend a stay at Casa Murroni. 😍
