Beautifully Decorated with everything you would need. Very nice little town you could walk to or explore other sights by car. Anna was an amazing host. She had even had fresh eggs for us and all you would need to cook there. Giuseppe was a perfect translator and gave us much Historical information on the surrounding areas to explore. Great place… I highly recommend.

The town doesn't offer much in the way of entertainment or...

The town doesn't offer much in the way of entertainment or recreation, but it's very close to Roseto, where you can visit the beautiful castle, and boasts wide beaches and crystal-clear waters. In the evening, the lively nightlife draws crowds, and the picturesque seafront provides the perfect backdrop to this enchanting location.

The resort is welcoming and provides all the comforts for a short stay, ideal for families with children. The restaurant, considering that the resort is quite isolated, should offer more choice, including dishes suitable for those with allergies and food intolerances.

I recommend staying in Amendolara, a quiet and picturesque...

I recommend staying in Amendolara, a quiet and picturesque town with a panoramic view, just ten minutes from the sea. The road is now completely paved. We much preferred Amendolara to Marina di Amendolara, which has few amenities and is truly...not very beautiful. The sea is very clean, but the pebble beach is very narrow and difficult to use.

Amendolara is a smaller village, part of it is on a hill and...

Amendolara is a smaller village, part of it is on a hill and part by the sea. There are a few shops, a pizzeria, a butcher, so you can buy everything on site. The beaches are pebble, they could be a little cleaner but the sea is beautiful when the waves are a little cloudy otherwise azure. We were there in September and the village was already quiet without tourists

The beaches are rocky, but offer beautiful views. The Ionian Sea is much warmer in February than the Adriatic, and the evenings are warmer. The area is pleasant to explore – there aren't as many quaint towns with narrow streets, but the landscapes are beautiful. The mountains are close by, so you can enjoy the beaches on your way to or from the island.

A quiet spot, perfect for families or couples looking for relaxation. The waterfront is well-maintained and the food is delicious! Don't miss the opportunity to purchase local products from this simple yet wonderful part of Calabria and dine at the La Taverna del Macellaio grill restaurant. Reservations are recommended!

The hosts were so helpful and friendly. He even moved a table and chairs outside for us as soon as we got there so we could enjoy some lovely local oranges he shared with us, as we soaked in the beautiful coastal sunshine. The entire inn was clean and inviting. The location is perfect with water views from the terrace. Only steps away to the water in one direction, and shopping, restaurants, and markets in the other direction. On-site parking, lovely room, great breakfast! Amendolara is a lovely seaside town with charming appeal.
