Offering unique rooms with original features, luxurious fabrics and antique furniture, MuntaeCara is in the medieval village of Apricale, near the French border and 9.3 mi from the Ligurian Sea. Excellent set up with rooms split across the village/hill. The room we stayed in had a very charming feel to it and was clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly too, and breakfast was great.
Surrounded by mountains, Apricus Locanda is located in the medieval town of Apricale. It offers a panoramic terrace, outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. Wonderful guesthouse with incredible hospitality. The owner was great at sharing tips and making recommendations. Very comfortable rooms with beautiful views! And a delicious breakfast.
Piccolo appartamento di charme (mq32) is set in Apricale. This property offers access to free WiFi. What a lovely surprise - both Apricale and the apartment. It was very comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and tidy and had everything one might need (incl. WLAN). We were also surprised how quiet it was - although located only a few steps from the piazza. Thank you very much to Susanna for letting us stay at their place and to Annalisa for welcoming us.
B&B Da Marta offers accommodations with free WiFi in Apricale. Guests enjoy breakfast served daily, including handmade cakes and local produce. All en suite, rooms feature exposed-stone walls. My stay was wonderful. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a unique stay that this is blessed!
Located in Apricale, 18 mi from Sanremo, B&B Da Giua' provides a garden and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bidet.... Beautiful and historic building in a perfect location. Loved meeting the family. Excellent restaurant about 10 meters (!) away.
Surrounded by hundred-year-old olive groves, Agriturismo Terre Del Mistero is a 18th-century building offering rooms and apartments with views of the mountains. Style is great! Wood floor, paintings are great! View from the window is so beautiful! Calm, no sounds, no cars! Worthy to go there. Me and my husband were really happy about this choice!
Offering views of Apricale and the mountains, La Felice Casa Di Nonno Battistino offers a spacious apartment and a room located a few steps from Apricale center, both with a private garden. Lovely place- very clean, relaxing, great location and views. Will be back!
Located in Apricale, Casa Luna provides accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. The holiday home features mountain views and is 18 mi from Sanremo. What can I say about Casa Luna that will properly convey how delighted we were with our stay. We were in Apricale for a wedding and the location couldn’t have been more romantic. But Casa Luna was the cherry on top. The facilities were so perfect for what we wanted - well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, fast and reliable internet, spacious rooms, a super-comfortable, large bed and you wake up to a view off the bedroom balcony that is postcard worthy. We had other people in our large group of visitors staying at other hotels and accommodation. They paid more and got less. Be smart - stay at Casa Luna! Buon Viaggio!
Apricale is a delightful hilltop village with fantastic views and scenery. It is also close to seaside resorts and lovely rock pools for bathing. Good restaurants in the village. We dined at Ciassa in the main square and at Apricus on the main road. Both very good. Apricale is quite challenging for any one with mobility problems. We are in our seventies and could manage the steps and slopes, but we are reasonably fit. But we will keep on going back as long as possible.
Myself and my partner will forever remember our wonderful stay at the Apricus Locanda, we both loved absolutely everything about our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated, comfy bed and little added touches (such as fresh herbs placed on our pillows) made us feel warm and cosy from the moment we got there. And the view.. incredible. Hard to take in its so wonderful. The town of Apricale itself is a little gem tucked up the hills, waiting to be discovered. The locals were were lovely and friendly and helped us out with some english when our Italian failed! There is a lovely little back story to the town involving travellers who came, and never left!! But I won't spoil that any further. Theres a handful of lovely restaurants serving delicious Italian food and you can also find delicious bistro type food at the apricus osteria & bar (highly recommend!!) Mostly we would like to thank Aldo and his partner, who took such good care of us throughout our stay. From greeting us when we arrived in our car, to our wonderful breakfast buffets in the morning, being available by phone whenever I had a question or needed a recommendation.. Truly wonderful hosts, thank you. We would ABSOLUTELY reccomend visiting Apricale, and staying at this perfect setting.
Very old town, character, but you need to be very fit, it’s all hills and steps. Very challenging and invigorating. For food, eat where the locals eat, better taste, more atmosphere and you don’t pay silly prices.
Lovely village perched on a steep hillside. Amazing views, interesting history, good restaurants and very friendly residents. The village shop is good for essentials and the lady who runs it very helpful. The walk up to the square is very steep and uneven....definitely not suitable for people who don’t like walking uphill,or do like wearing heels! No cars are allowed in the village so it’s very safe for children, who have a lovely time playing in the square. We love Apricale and hope to return.
Room was not as pictured on site. We were charged for 2 nights instead of one. Waiting a month now for a refund. Didn't even stay in room as it was not as pictured. Only bring a backpack. Best restaurant had no chef that evening.
Magical village. Great Castle, restaurants and lovely people. Really enjoyed exploring around the tiny streets. Found some nice walks around and outside he village. Local wine was superb and the bus service was punctual.
