Located in Brescello, 21 mi from Reggio Emilia, La Sosta Fuori Stazione features a garden and free WiFi. Very tasteful interior with all you could ask for. We arrived on tandem bicycle and there was a safe space to park it. Good breakfast and a 3 minutes walk to get some dinner at the piazza.

Located in Brescello, Casa di Enza has accommodations with a bar, free WiFi, a shared lounge, and luggage storage space. The air-conditioned property is 25 miles from Carpi. We came to Casa di Enza because a booking at a city centre apartment was cancelled. AS it turned out this location was very convenient to drive into the city. The host did not speak any English and we speak very little Italian But we managed to communicate very well. The kitchen was well equipped and well stocked with breakfast goodies including a Nespresso coffee machine with a variety of coffees. The decor was rather dated (no big deal) but the bed was comfortable and clean. There was on street parking directly outside the building.
Featuring a traditional Mantuan restaurant, Ostello Bortolino offers rustic air-conditioned accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Set in Viadana, it offers a garden with gazebo and BBQ facilities. Coffee could be better in my opinion but everything else was great!
we had booked this property because of its location -- we are fans of the don camillo movies, and did not expect much, just a place to spend the night. but had we known it was such a lovely place we would have booked for a few extra days. it was was nice and comfortable, albeit basic. has a parking which is essential, since you do need a car to travel around the area. this is not about the hotel, but if you are in town, do go to the market square and try the ice-cream at the small parlour and have a drink at the matteotti bar!
