Everething you need if you staing for skiing vacation. Good location. Caprile is quite nice town for traveling around dolomites superski. Very close to Civetta and Marmolada (5-10 minutes. Quite close to Arabba and Falcade (15-20 minutes). Lovely view from Balcony and windows. 40 minutes to Corvara or Cortina.
Appartamenti Garibaldi is located in Caprile. The accommodations is 31 mi from Selva di Val Gardena. Nice and clean property! It`s a bit small but perfect for a couple or max 3 persons. Location is very nice, close to a pizza place. The town is lovely but it`s a bit away from the most interesting places in the Dolomites. In general, I recommend it for a short stay away from the big cities.
Sasso Bianco is located in Caprile and offers barbecue facilities. The accommodations is 23 mi from Dobbiaco, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The apartment owner are very kind and helpful , and it's good location for people travellig Dolomiti.
Just 2.5 mi outside Alleghe, Caprile's Hotel Alla Posta is a 19th-century post house listed in Italy's historic places. The staff was awesome, super accommodating and friendly. Very good service, especially at dinner. Food was good. Have a great shuttle service for the civetta area and a ski room. Hotel is old, but well kept, some rooms are being refurbished (we stayed in an older one). Everything clean and well equipped, even though old. Confortable enough (I don't like hard beds but that's me). Free parking in a school very nearby. Speak several languages and answer emails fast, and if you need help with anything, just ask, they are happy to help!
Tiny village at the intersection of a couple of major roads connecting different valleys. Spectacular view of NW wall of Mt. Civetta is the main attraction. The 5km walk along the river to Alleghe is the best way to kill a couple of hours. A cheaper option, I suppose, than other places in the Dolomites, thus ok as "base-camp" but be prepared to drive around to do your preferred alpine activities (skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, etc).
