Appartamenti Garibaldi is located in Caprile. The accommodations is 23 mi from Dobbiaco. Nice and clean property! It`s a bit small but perfect for a couple or max 3 persons. Location is very nice, close to a pizza place. The town is lovely but it`s a bit away from the most interesting places in the Dolomites. In general, I recommend it for a short stay away from the big cities.
Sasso Bianco is located in Caprile. The property features mountain views and is 23 mi from Dobbiaco. The host is very friendly and the apartment is very clean and homely with the exit to the beautiful garden. The private parking lot is at the house. Very good for this price category. Recommendable.
Offering views of the Marmolada and Civetta mountains, Appartamenti Casa al Moro provides self-catering apartments with free Wi-Fi and free garage parking. Cortina d’Ampezzo is 22 mi away. Our stay at the two bedroom apartment was excellent and to be honest it was sad to leave. The place is fitted with two bathrooms (both with showers and one with a bidet as well), a washing machine, an oven, a dishwasher, three balconies, a sofa bed, ample room for storage and a lot more. Honestly everything was great, the whole bulding is pretty recent and well kept (there's also an elevator for those who need it) and the furniture is new. There's a free playground with zip line etc in the vicinity and you can walk to the nearby town of Caprile to buy groceries. The employees were professional and quick to respond to our queries (we had a frying pan replaced the next morning since it was scratched). Since we went in the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic (although during a period of respite, at least in Italy), it can be useful to know that the letting agency will provide hydrogen peroxide sanification for a reasonable fee. We paid for this service to have extra peace of mind.
Appartamenti Vittoria Pezzè features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Rocca Pietore, 5.6 mi from Malga Ciapela-Marmolada. Fully equipped apartment on the top floor. Own balcony facing south. Quiet location. Hosts live below and are very nice. Always willing to help. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Can fully recommend
Tiny village at the intersection of a couple of major roads connecting different valleys. Spectacular view of NW wall of Mt. Civetta is the main attraction. The 5km walk along the river to Alleghe is the best way to kill a couple of hours. A cheaper option, I suppose, than other places in the Dolomites, thus ok as "base-camp" but be prepared to drive around to do your preferred alpine activities (skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, etc).
