Tranquility in the Italian countryside, beautiful, comfortable and rustic accommodations, but the 2 hosts, Errika and Ivanov made our stay simply wonderful. Upon arrival they gave us fresh Parmesan cheese and bread with homemade red wine and pickled vegetables, but the highlight of our stay was the dinner that Ivanov ( a professional chef) prepared for us, we were in heaven! Our best meal by far in Italy. We slept like logs that night to the silence of the countryside. And then the included breakfast which featured delicious local ricotta cheese and Ivanov’s delectable scrambled eggs fortified us to continue our Italian journey with full bellies, big smiles and the sweet memories of Errika and Ivanov’s kind hospitality. Villa Rossana is not to be missed if you are in the area.

Caterina is running a wonderful B&B! The location was perfect for our our drive through Emilia-Romagna. The rooms were tastefully decorated according themes, and the common area was artfully decorated with art pieces from her family. It was so peaceful in the morning with the gentle breeze, the soft music from the record player, and Caterina's delicious homemade peach cobbler and blueberry cheesecake as part of her breakfast. Caterina communicated well with us about our upcoming visit and even helped us book a dinner reservation nearby at Ristorante Masticabrodo (which we loved). We highly recommend Pioppi Neri!

It was like I was invited to a friend’s house. Their buildings have history and you will see their exceptional care for furniture, linens, and foods. I added a tour of their cheese factory, the experience was more than I expected. I highly recommend!

The farm had a beautiful view with ample and safe parking. Beautiful room and the best bathroom in all of Italy. The shower was huge. The breakfast was delicious with homemade cakes and jams and eggs made to order. Michaela was so kind and helpful in suggestions in what to see, where to park, and excellent recommendation for dinner.

Langhirano is a municipality in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 90 kilometers (56 mi) west of Bologna and about 20 kilometers (12 mi) south of Parma. My hosts, Vittorio and Tania, were very kind and accommodating to me. They invited me to their home for pizza, wine and a special apple tart made by Tania. Vittorio topped it off with a delicious espresso coffee. It was a beautiful evening with these lovely, charming people.
