I travel a lot and I can rate the place as exceptional. Maximum satisfaction. Quiet and beautiful place, great cleanliness, beautiful garden. Very nice people, excellent cuisine. My dog was very welcome. Secure parking in the fenced garden, right at the entrance. You feel as if you have come to family or friends. I forgot my camera in the room, they kept it for me and I picked it up a week later on the way back.

Lovely little town if you don’t want to be near the hustle and bustle of the main island of Venice. It’s got everything you need - we went out for dinner to two different places and it was great both times. Residents of Mirano are friendly too :)
We were there during the weeks the residents of Mirano and the Veneto in general leave for vacation (our stay the 12th-18th of August). The good news was the sites we visited--the villas and gardens and the towns along the Brenta that I was researching--had very few people in them. The bad news is that many shops and restaurants were closed. If you don't mind August heat, it was a good time to get a close look at the sites, but if you want a bustling town atmosphere and shopping and plenty of restaurant choices, I would choose a time different than August.
LOved our stay, some of the personell were very helpful and kind with our kids. Pool and spa area is great. Breakfast is great, huge variety eggs, yogurt, bread, fresh fruit, nutella, croissant, coffee, juice We also got help to book a table at a local restaurant which we loved
It's a very easy and fast trip from Treviso airport and may be a good location to sleep instead of Venice. Mirano has some nice cafes and restaurants but can be full on weekends. In 40 Minutes you reach Chioggia but the restaurants there anr not any cheaper than Venice but you can swim nearby at the beach and parking for free is possible.
We love the local feel of Mirano, its a family town, which provides a very authentic Italian experience to any visitor. We liked the quietness during the shop closing times but enjoy the bustle of the afternoons and evenings. I could live in Mirano, we just love it. We plan to return again soon.. It has lovely bars and a wealth of eating establishments, nice shops, and is very accessible to Venice via bus.. 30mins away.
