Wow—where to start? Lugh’e Luna Village was the perfect place to finish our three-week honeymoon in Sardinia. We stayed for five nights and couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax, unwind, and recharge. The peaceful countryside setting gave us the stillness and calm we were craving, yet the location in Oristano was ideal—just 20 minutes or less to reach some of the island’s most stunning beaches and attractions. We’d like to give a very special thank you to the wonderful and kind manager, who made our stay truly exceptional. She was always available to help with anything we needed, and went above and beyond to accommodate our very specific dietary requirements at breakfast. Honestly, we would’ve been more than happy with just eggs and bread—but instead, she thoughtfully brought in a variety of delicious options tailored just for us. It made breakfast such a joy every morning—not just for the food, but also for the lovely chats we shared with her. We also have to mention her assistant managers, Lugh’e 🐈 and Luna 🐕, who were an absolute highlight of our stay. We looked forward to seeing them around the property every day—they added so much charm and warmth to the experience. As for the property itself: the room was spacious, spotlessly clean, bright, and incredibly comfortable. We had our best sleep of the entire trip here—much needed after weeks of travel. And the pool was a perfect place to relax in the afternoons. (Despite some reviews saying it closes midday, it seemed to be open all day during our stay!) We would’ve been more than happy with the property alone—but the kindness and generosity of the manager (and her adorable assistants 🐾) truly made this one of the most memorable parts of our entire honeymoon. We’re so grateful, and we’ll definitely be back!

Nicely decorated and furnished with actually interesting art. The breakfast options were good, especially the pastries. The compound is large and the garden well tended. If you like cats, there are a few around that will say hi. It is just a few minutes driving away from the beach. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. We enjoyed our stay!

We visited in September when it was lovely and quiet. Nice beaches and calm sea. Friendly people and lovely sunset views. Great spot if you like a more laid back, quieter holiday with walks along the cliffs, paddleboarding and options for windsports.

Beautiful beach, wonderfully peaceful. Quite remote, but a nice supermarket is a 5-7 minute drive away. A great base for visiting Tharros. A great place to rest between the cities of Alghero and Cagliari on our tour. It was early in the season, but there was still a nice beach bar open. Be careful on the minor roads. Main roads are fine.

It's beautiful and a great base for visiting other lovely bays and nature reserves. It's not very touristy in the early season. I can imagine parking being a problem in July/August. Food and drinks are expensive everywhere, comparable to a reasonably high-end meal out in the Netherlands.

Quiet (May), delicious food, lovely pool. Breakfast was good, only the bread supply could be much better. Beautiful coastal towns, beautiful cities like Cabras, Oristano, Cagliari, and Alghero. But definitely visit the inland as well. Beautiful villages and mountain landscapes.

The beach is truly beautiful, but there are many others worth seeing nearby. The beach is also a meeting point for all the locals and the few foreigners present... It's the summer destination for the people of Oristano. Services are available on site and nearby. Good pizzerias and restaurants with high-quality products.

Big comfy room with an air conditioner and fridge. Nice seating on the shared terrace and sun beds - we enjoyed lying on these at night and watching the shooting stars The reception for the site is run by the Hotel Maluentu 10 mins walk up the road - the hotel is great for meals on their sea /sun terrace - we had a lovely breakfast for about 12.50%€. Beaches are on your doorstep.

The house is located in a Super quiet area outside of Putzu Idu. Besides the short distance to several beaches, small hikes and a couple of restaurants, by far the biggest highlight of the place is its owner. Marcello is always a message away and it fees like he knows somebody at every place you go (even if it’s not recommended by him :))
