Owners were extremely helpful.
Lots of information and instructions guiding us go the location, and to complete online form which enables free lift access while staying there.
Absolutely no stairs to arrive at accommodation from train station.
Just some stairs once inside front gate.
Alessandra and William so friendly.
They have left all Cinque Terre information including train timetables in the room for us to look at to help plan our stay.
They decked out our fridge and pantry with yoghurt, milk, cornflakes, coffee facilities, biscuits and ham, bread.
This was so lovely of them to do.
Beds comfortable, Alessandra more than happy to show me how to use washing machine, and provide clothes horse and pegs.
Be sure to have a photo of your cat handy to join the 'guest book'. Nala from Adelaide, Australia should be in there somewhere.
Wish we could stay longer, and I think we will definitely be back some day.
Thanks for a fantastic stay!

It was very nice, the owner lady was very kind, she welcomed us better than in an apartment.
Although the meal was not included, she prepared a selection of dishes that was enough for us for breakfast. She also gave us a bottle of wine.
The apartment is modernly decorated and richly equipped (espresso machine, tea, safe), comfortable, clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and in an excellent location, only 2 minutes from the train station, and quiet.

The location and ambience is amazing. The room on booking.com was misleading however as the room type we booked and was indicated in the photo were not of the same standard.

Wonderful location! Close to absolutely everything. Ambience perfect. Didn’t want to leave and would have gladly stayed longer if more time.
Housed in a typical Ligurian-style building, Locanda Ca Da Iride offers air-conditioned rooms in Riomaggiore, 1 km from the beach. Free WiFi is available in public areas.
Lovely property, located close to the Main Street with shops and restaurants
Hotel Locanda Del Sole is in the main street of Riomaggiore, one of the Cinque Terre towns. It offers free WiFi and is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station.
Really nice hotel and we got such excelent service and help with everything we needed.
Locanda Ca’ dei Duxi is set in the centre of Cinque Terre’s first village in a characteristic 15th-century building. Walk to the sea in 5 minutes from here.
The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful!
Hotel La Zorza is centrally located, conveniently close to Riomaggiore Station and the sea. The building dates back to the 15th century and was the home of a local sailor.
It was clean and equippted with everything we needed.

It was very easy to access by train from the Wright station at Florence, you need to be sure you are at the right one, and a 2 to 3 nights stay is recommended by us for a time to relax and also get in some visits to the other towns! Going in the warmer months may be more crowded, but the water is a wonderful temperature and worth every minute

Of the five villages Riomaggiore has been left in a sad state with the harbor/marina area looking like it hasn't seen a paint brush or any maintenance in a very long time. Poor upkeep for a village which relies on tourism as a major revenue source!

I stayed for 1 night in Riomaggiore near the marina with amazing sea and mountain views from my room windows.
I enjoyed the sunset view from my room and then roamed around the village in the evening. Found less vegetarian food options in the restaurants. Next morning, I bought beautiful souvenirs in the cute little shop in the village.
Since the sea was a bit rough, boats were cancelled and I travelled by train to La Spezia.

Riomaggiore was our favourite village in Cinque Terre.
Riomaggiore was our favourite village in Cinque Terre. It is basically one big hill with shops, restaurants and a nice harbour to travel by boat to other areas. It's a very quaint village with a charming ambience. Bonus is a laundromat if you are travelling through Italy. Our favourite restaurant is beside the laundromat called La Cantina Del Macellaio. Perfect!

It's better to stay at least 2 nights in Riomaggiore.
It's better to stay at least 2 nights in Riomaggiore. We are happy to choose this hotel. Although it is quite high on the hill, they have a short cut to the town center and railway station. Nearby restaurants are good.

Beautiful Italian town with great restaurants and access to the rest of Cinque Terre.
It does suffer from over tourism with crowded towns and trains and the national walking trails were closed when we were there.
This lovely room is in the best location, a short walk to everything you’d want to do in Riomaggiore. Barbara met us at the train station & walked us to the accomodation which was very helpful. She was super friendly and gave great tips on things to do in town and across the Cinque Terre. The room is very clean, the balcony is amazing with surely the best view in town. A small but tasty sweet breakfast was provided as well as coffee. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
Amazing small hotel with an amazing view of Riomaggiore Bay. Paolo the owner was great, gave us a lot of recommendations and even explained to us about Cinque Terre vineyards. The room was very comfortable and with a lot of amenities: AC, coffee machine, fridge, cookies, cups, wine glass, etc. They let us leave the luggage for a couple of hours after checking out.
Easy check in process
Great location in the heart of riomaggiore. Very close to the station.
Small room but it is what you would expect from cinque Terre.
Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace to take a meal up there.
Hosts are so accomodating and really help to make best use of your time on the cinque Terre! Great location in the centre of town, close to everything you need
