You feel exceptionnaly welcome to Maison Bovard, the hosts are very attentive and like to share everything about their region. They are very helpful to find a restaurant, give information about the surrounding mountains and the culture of the Valley. The breakfast was excellent (regional products, homemade bread and cake, etc...).

Chez Praz is located in Avise. The apartment features mountain views and is 30 miles from Verbier. Beautiful remote location for this renovated cottage, perched high on a hill. It’s an easy 20 minutes walk down to the nearest charming village for an iced tea or other refreshments. Spacious full floor apartment with external front door and surrounded by nature. Clean and comfortable flat run by super friendly local farming family. Views of surrounding mountains and glaciers are fabulous especially at sunrise. Ample parking.
This is a fantastic area to spend time, you could be driving around or hiking or walking on the well appointed tracks. The villages are pitoresc, the surroundings magical with waterfall's and mountains with lush green pastures and wild berries to forage.
Really nice old historical house. It is really worth of money. Girls were kind and speak good English. Location is perfect for hiking and also some restaurants are 5-10 minutes walk distance. I was more than happy really good value for money.
It is quiet and peaceful. The locals are nice and talkative, you won't feel lonely but if you want to be in your own it is also possible. In Capaluongo there is a bit more of life but all in all, a quiet area.
There is just one lift and four pistes for downhill skiing but the heliskiing was completely awesome. You need to get a car to find restaurants and there was a tiny supermarket but it wasn't open much at the weekend. Everyone was incredibly friendly (French speaking as well as Italian) and we had some great food.
