Dogs :) Awesome open-air jacuzzi with view on sky with stars (cutting away a few tree branches would make it even better) The house has unique atmosphere with a lot of things on dogs thematic. It it a good break from standard hotels. Rocking chair. Calm surrounding area.

I loved the view, I loved the meals, the friendliness of the staff, and the massage chair. This is a stunning, one-of-a-kind gem of a place and will be recommending it to any of my friends who have an interest in mount Fuji.

The hotel was conveniently located along the road around Lake Shoji and was easy to access by car; there’s also a bus stop right in front of their parking lot. The view of Mt. Fuji in the morning was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and homey, and the dinner and breakfast (choice of Japanese or Western style) were great. The bathrooms and beds/futons were clean and the on-site onsen was perfect after a long day. The staff/owners were very attentive and took great care to make our stay enjoyable. We regretted that we couldn’t stay for a couple of more nights, will definitely come back.

We had a great experience staying at Motosu Phoenix Hotel. The hotel itself is spacious with many rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offered a great variety of delicious food, both for dinner and breakfast. The onsen is on the smaller side, but still very enjoyable and relaxing. There’s also a game center and free soft drinks available, which was a nice touch. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and worked well. One of the best things about the hotel is its location,just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lake Motosu. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

We had a rainy stay - but still loved the traditional rooms and baths. The dinner was very delicious and breakfast was too. Location is close to more places if you have a car. Hope to come again and see more Fuji!
