Great converted old buildings, some of which are in great locations. We were overlooking the canal with all the merchant houses. Large Japanese style breakfast with many courses, free fully stocked mini bar. Late check out.

Wonderful stay, easy check in experience with kind staff. Hotel is well prepared for english-speakers coming in from the train, location is right by then Sawara train station exit and instructions/directions throughout the building were also available in English. Wonderful onsen tub and breakfast.

It's not just one bed room but we got almost the whole apartment which we can use sitting room, big closet as well. All Facilities were in great condition, and the view was beautiful.

    Katori is a very interesting town. We enjoyed being able to walk around the town without having to make use of public transport as every thing was so handy. Great to see how people out of the big cities enjoy life.

    Katori is a charming area, where the historic buildings...

    Katori is a charming area, where the historic buildings along the canal and river transport you to a bygone era. The quaint restaurants and coffee shops provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind. I imagine it’s livelier in the summer than it was during our winter visit. At times, I felt it was almost too perfect, lacking the energy of street life.
