Great location near the main attractions of Shinjuku and also close to a few metro lines, which makes it very convenient to see all areas of Tokyo during the day and go out in the evenings. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a very large bed, a sofa, and a lovely big bath. The toiletries provided are of great quality. Very quiet, we never heard noise from the street or other rooms. We tried breakfast in 3 different restaurants, including the club lounge, and there was such a variety of food that we never got bored. Both Japanese and Western options. We had access to the club lounge, and we went there for drinks and snacks a few evenings, looking out to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and great views of the city. This hotel is not cheap but it was worth every penny. I would definitely think of staying here again if I came back to Tokyo.

The staff was polite and there wasn’t a lack of amenities. The bar on the 20th floor serves a selection of unique Japanese whiskies. Had dinner at SHIKAKU on the 4th floor and found the cost performance more than adequate. While the overall cost is high, Aoyama Grand Hotel competes with the best hotels in Tokyo and provides a sense of privacy and security unmatched by those in its league.

The apartment has 3 floors and is very spacious, clean, and convenient to train stations and supermarkets; it is also within a walking distance to Shinjuku and Nakano alleys/“broadway” where many restaurants are located. The kitchen has the required necessities for cooking. The owner is responsive to text and kind. Just FYI: 1. The washer does not have a dryer function but washed clothes can be hung on the balcony outside one of the bedrooms on the third floor for quick drying. 2. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area (plus for us) and the owner provides a clear instruction to reach the apartment.
