I hesitate to recommend this island paradise for fear that it will no longer be a paradise and will lose its unique charm, which is also due to the lack of tourists! The white sandy beaches as fine as flour, the crystal clear waters between emerald and turquoise, the lush vegetation, the smiles of the locals and the laughter of the children... everything is wonderful... Koh Touch village is too much of a party scene if you're looking for a nature get away. If you stay there, make sure to rent a motorbike to get to further beaches, unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money on taxis. Koh Rong is definitely a place to visit when in Cambodia, and it has a great vibe for travellers of all ages. There are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes, and it's not too expensive. Long Set Beach and Koah Touch Beach are the main areas, and the best locations to stay. We visited Sok San, but found it to be a little run down, and not much there. My only problem with the place was how dirty it was. The streets were covered in litter, and the beaches weren't cleaned...so they were always covered in plastic items washed up by the sea. They clean the beach and the hotel's premises all day long. As for the rooms are spacious, very clean, as they are cleaned daily. Both breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The pool was lovely. Please remember that Cambodia is still a poor country and housing for the locals is far less than the standard of the hotel.
