Super clean, great hot tub and pool, pretty rooms and great staff! I had an allergic reaction to some food I ate a block away and needed help getting medication from the hospital since I don’t speak Korean and someone from the front desk (Lucas I think?) voluntarily came with me to the hospital and stayed with me until I got help. I am so thankful for that!!

The room was nice and clean (vanity set, comb and shampoo/conditioner/body wash were all provided) and the reception staff was able to communicate in English. The hotel’s position is not exactly central, but it wasn’t a problem as it was possible to call a taxi easily, and it’s only 20 minutes away from the airport. There’s a chance to eat at their breakfast or lunch buffet for a not too high price. It was great! Thank you :)

Easy to get from the airport (bus ~15 min, taxi ~ 9 min). And don't forget it's one the few seaside hotels in Jeju City. I also loved the room's interior design.

I enjoyed my stay a lot in Jeju city, but I should probably have chosen to stay in Seogwipo instead. Simply because of my interest in the things that are far from Jeju City. Personally, I would recommend getting an international drivers permit and rent a car to get around the Island. A lot of the things worth seeing is closer to Seogwipo, so my advice would be to either stay in Seogwipo, or rent a car. Apart from that, friendly locals and nice people.
Great place for a solo traveller planning to do a round island by driving. Roads are easy and traffic is pretty straightforward (even for a right hand drive person). Jeju has many different places to visit and you may find that 9 days is too long just for Jeju alone. But I found that 9 days was too short for a true round island, mainly because there are many many nature sites spread across the island and they're all top notch. Additionally, the drive times there are really long, not because the distance is great, but because of the speed limit (30km/h - Child Protection Zones a.k.a schools zones which are ever where to 50km/h - average of the road limits). This coupled with a speed camera every 100m makes the drive times long. Beautiful place to travel alone or with the family. But be prepared to arrive at your next location / hotel late if you over spend time at one place. My suggestion is to allocate more time at 1 location so you don't rush or compromise the rest of your tindery. And most important of all, RENT A CAR. This instantly unlocks the rest of Jeju for you where public transport can't cover (in an acceptable time frame). Its roughly 100$ SGD a day (5 seater sedan)and if you divide by 5 people it's extremely worth it. My full tank there (30L or 40L) was like 30000 (30$ - 35$) so its very cheap. FYI for my rental place, its 30$ per traffic / speed ticket. (I didn't get any but that was my market rate lol).
I totally recommend it. Friendly people, beautiful nature, sun, sea. People are helpful, even if some can't speak english they will gide you, or show you with signs. Very easy to navigate with busses, first I was afraid that will get lost somewhere in the middle of island. But busses have speakers and you always know which next stop is, and even if speakers not working, drivers will tell you. I recommend first take a Jeju City tour buss. Take all day pass instead of one time pass. This way you will take a look around and than you can decide where you wanna go on your own. You can ask the guide lady about city buses. How to go there or there, and they will even call to buss station and will tell you everything very detailed. Be polite and people will be very friendly, helpful and polite with you. P.s. I was only on the east side of the island. First I was thinking take some private tour ( there's a lot) around all island, but than I decided that will come back next time. Than I can visit Jeju minimum three times more 😁. Jeju is a real Asian pearl. And best way to explore it, little by little. That is my opinion.
Jeju is a gorgeous place, surrounded by natural beauty. The beaches and the mountains make it very unique. If you're going to South Korea, you should at least visit Jeju for 5 days. If you really want to explore the main cities (Jeju City and Seogwipo), I would suggest 7-10 days. I will definitely come back. I loved Jeju Island!
Jeju is huge and travelling around is difficult if one doesn't have their own vehicle. Deciding where to go is another dilemma since it has so much to offer. One should staff for atleast 4-5 nights and rent a car for easy access and for ensuring the cover all best attractions in Jeju. Further it is Advisable to divide your stay between City Hall( Its closer to the station) and Seogwipo (it has most museums and other attractions around)
It was a great trip and wanna back again to Jeju. From my point of view, Jeju is the best place I've visited in South Korea. You can enjoy a lot with the sea and sea view. I went to Wudo Island, Seongsan Mountain, Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, Daepo Jusangjeolli, etc. I enjoyed black pork and lobsters in Jeju. It would be easy to go around Jeju if you got a car. It was rainy went I went and highly recommended to check the weather before you go.
