Beautiful property, people and views. We had such an amazing time staying at Whisky Point Resort and will definitely be back soon. Anna and Nicola are super warm and welcoming and will go over and beyond to give each and every one of their guests their time and attention to personalise their stay and make sure they are comfortable and enjoying every minute of their stay. The property is perfect for those who want to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet with amazing ocean views, clean beaches and Sri Lanka’s most stunning nature and wild life, whilst sleeping to the sound of the ocean waves and waking up to stunning sunrises. The food was super delicious and the authentic Italian restaurant even has a pizza oven! Thank you to all the chefs and kitchen staff! Kolvin is super friendly and will make sure you get the drinks and dishes that will leave you more than satisfied. The property is just 25 min away from the best surfing spots. Through Anna’s recommendation we were able to get a great surfing coach, Jaso took care of us and made sure that our beginnings in surfing are smooth and safe and most importantly FUN! Thank you to Anna, Nicola and all the staff for making our stay so special! Hoping to be back soon!

Excellent location - 20 meters to the beach, the Main Street with all caffès and shops. 15 min driving to Peanut Farm - the starting point for beginners in surfing. Banana Cafe is just next to the hotel and has very nice food and drinks. Mohammed is very friendly, he gave us delicious cakes, arranged surfing classes for us, always helped us with everything we need. Other staff were also very helpful. The room was clean, has good AC, the bed was comfy. We really enjoyed staying at Lucky Bay.

Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable.

Big thanks to Katherine and Michelle—we absolutely loved it here! The room and garden design is super stylish, and they really pay attention to all the little details. The restaurant food was great—we ended up eating there for three days straight! :) They also work with a taxi company that’s very reasonably priced and super reliable—honestly better than PickMe. We used them for the rest of our trip around Sri Lanka. Just a heads-up: the sea right outside the hotel is a bit rough, so it’s not the best for swimming. But the pool is perfect, so definitely go for that instead!

One of the Best hotel! As a person who stay there 5 nights, during my stay I replace to Luxury room, I can defiently say this is one of the best in Arugam! First the staf were so friendly! Helping with every request, helping with lately check out, and were very friendly! Food: we took 3 breakfast, it was good, value for money they have a resturant menu. But in the last two nights we prefer to eat outside. Swimming pool: As a person who like to swim, I really like to swim there, part of the swimming pool cover by shadow and part by sun. Finally, I really recommend about this Hotel! This should be your first choise!

Location is perfect - right in front of the beach and all visits easily reachable by walking (main point 3min) or tuk tuk (peanut farm beach / elephant rock) Breakfast was great. Especially i want to mention the stuff, they were super happy, supportive and helpful with every question or request. One of the best hotels we have been so far. Clean, nice, feels luxurious for a good price (156€ 3 nights in april).

I am incredibly impressed with the outstanding customer service at this establishment. While traveling for work, I had to take public transport and required a very late check-in at 4 AM. Many other places either refused me or tried to charge for two full days, even though I was only staying for a few hours. In a last-minute decision right before boarding my bus, I booked this hotel and explained my situation. To my relief, they immediately agreed to my request without any hesitation or additional fees. When I arrived in the early hours of the morning, everything was perfectly prepared for me. The place itself is lovely, with a unique touch: each room has its own private outdoor seating area complete with a sofa, table, and even a ceiling fan. On top of all that, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of town, making everything easily accessible by foot. I can't recommend this place enough, especially for their wonderful hospitality!
