Swell Shacks is the best place to stay in Mirissa! 🌴 It’s such a peaceful and detoxifying spot — perfect if you want to truly relax and destress. Their amenities are very modern and well thought out, and the breakfast they provided was amazing. The staff are so warm, kind, and hospitable, always making sure guests are comfortable. Honestly, I can’t say anything bad about this place — everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mirissa!

If I could give this place more than 10 stars I would. Easily the best accommodations we had for our month in Sri Lanka. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have an onsite kitchen that can prepare breakfast and dinner if you schedule with them in advance. We did both and the food was delicious and plentiful! The pool was great and offered amazing sunset views. They had little extras that were a nice surprise too- we could order a cup of coffee or tea any time for free, they brought us complimentary fruit smoothies while at the pool, filtered water provided in the room. They even have a TV room that we used to watch a movie one night. It felt just like home!

This is an absolute gem. Clean, very cheap, friendly and well maintained. We had a large room with a wrap around balcony with pool, garden and sea views. The owners went above and beyond. Wifi was excellent.

Great location on the beach with a nice restaurant / bar by the Ocean. The pool was large and quiet. The family room we booked was spacious with two single beds and a double. The surrounding area felt safe and it was nice to stroll around to the other restaurants in the evenings. The manager was friendly and helped up with whatever we needed. Food was great and the banana pancakes for breakfast were perfect! We’d stay here again and could have stayed longer.

The location is very close to Polhena beach.

Natural view , perfect place to get lost from the busy world. It's heaven for the surfers but not for regular swim as the waves are too strong.

It’s an incredible place to stay and very well prepared the stuff was son kind and was always looking after us!! Landisu and Sangeeth are amazing, and will make your stay even better if possible I highly recommend it

The location was good. Had a good swimming pool.

The host is a extremely cool guy. Hotel is located right in front beach and few minutes walking from bus station. I could even borrow a bicycle to explore the town. Nice Double bed with private bathroom.

Very close to the city center and just across the street there is a lovely beach. The room was pretty large and spacious. The reception staff were very polite, and especially Shavina was super helpful in getting my room ready early.
