There is enough to do for at least one afternoon if you enjoy nature and history. There is a castle, a small island, castle park with some old trees. A church. Several pretty ponds. An alley of old linden-trees on Pāces street. We Latvians just love big old trees, Dundaga is certainly a good place to find plenty of those. I took a small hike to the cemetery of old time German barons, a very serene place. The town has several restaurants and supermarkets, so no problems with provisions, and I stayed at a comfortable and good value guest house Jūras sapņi. Actually I wish I had stayed longer and tried more hiking in the area.Guest review byIngaLatvia
