The farmhouse is a lovely piece of architecture, and the whole experience was positive. The hosts where very gentle also, and where ready to assist our needs. Finally the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this stay to anyone that wants to relax and take a step back from the rush that comes with the times we are living.

We’ve just spent 3 days at the Ceska Boutique Hotel in Gozo.
The stay was an absolute pleasure, starting with the warm welcome from Mickayla at Reception.
She , along with Grace and Carmelino, were very keen for us to have a memorable stay, and were responsive to solving any request which we made of them, cheerfully.
They arranged tours of Gozo, recommended and made reservations for us at great local restaurants, and booked transport for us as required.
Their positive and helpful attitude permeated the entire establishment, including the wait staff at breakfast (special mention to Mara), and the housekeeping staff.
The entire hotel was spotless, and the breakfast spread kept us comfortably full until dinner each day.
We could not commend the Cesca Boutique Hotel any higher, and would happily encourage our friends and family to stay here when they visit Gozo.

I love absolutely everything about this hotel I think it’s one of the best I have ever stayed and their staff for sure the number one, they are absolutely awesome incredibly helpful and nice, they all made me feel so welcome and enjoy even more my stay in Gozo. I was upgraded to a room with jacuzzi which I really appreciated the room was very comfortable and spotless with everything you need, breakfast was delicious and with a beautiful view to the citadel.
I stayed 3 nights and wish I could have stayed longer because there are so many beautiful places to visit.
Location is perfect.
I will for sure stay here again when I come back to Gozo.
Thank you!!

There are ongoing building and property developments in Munxar which will change it forever. Some of the developments are predictably hideous but others sensitive to the picturesque bay and surrounding environment. In fairness construction work was halted for the summer which is a good thing. When I took friends there in June it was impossible to sit on the front and enjoy the view without being covered in building dust., I found the kiosks and restaurants away from the immediate 'front line' still very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Munxar [in the summer] continues to be a pleasant place for a short break and well situated for exploring the rest of Gozo. Frontline businesses less 'local in attitude and cuisine. although the food was always quite good.

Munxar is a sleepy village, not much happening, but it is a good base for a stay in Gozo if you have a car or you're ready to catch buses.
If you enjoy walking, you'll be out on country lanes in a few minutes and headed towards some lovely coastal walks.
