Hotel Avenida Cardonal is offering accommodations in Cardonal. The property has a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and organizing tours for guests. The hotel is pretty good for the price it offers. The conditions are not perfect, but the price is relevant. The town is very very small, quiet and calm. The only disadvantage is there is no places to eat. Even that we found a small taqueria and the food was good.
Providing a shared lounge and free WiFi, Casa cerca de Tolantongo y la Gloria provides accommodations in Cardonal. Absolutely huge place ... the property is so difficult to reach that the owner has to be called and met and then followed to reach his place ... the guy is so friendly and nice ... the hot water tank needs to be turned on every time we needed it ... but definitely worth the price
Located 0.6 mi from central Ixmiquilpan, Hotel Cipreses offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis and squash courts and extensive gardens. The games room features table tennis and a pool table.... Wonderful facility, rooms were too small for us. They were pet friendly and other than room size all was good
Featuring a bar and a shared lounge, Hotel Posada Centenario is located in Ixmiquilpan, 8 miles from EcoAlberto Park and 27 miles from Tolantongo Caves. Super clean. Nice balcony. Helpful staff. Good wifi. Probably the best all around hotel in town. We stayed here and took a day trip to Tolantango.
Located in Ixmiquilpan, 9 miles from EcoAlberto Park, Hotel Posada Don Vasco features a garden and views of the garden. At the hotel, the rooms come with a closet and a flat-screen TV. The hotel is open for more than a month but it is in working order. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely build and comfortable. The street is quiet enough. The Netflix is working great. The price was very affordable.
Hotel Avenida is located on the Actopan-Ixmiquilpan Motorway and 0.6 mi from the Plaza Juárez Main Square. All economic hotels in Mexico can be sketchy. I was splendidly surprised by Hotel Avenida. I wasn’t expecting very much because it was very affordable, although probably my most expensive stay of the entire 11 day trip, that’s including our American chain stay in Tampico. The good inside: *Spacious bathroom and shower *Warm water *Working TV with English Channels *Great Wi-Fi Signal *Three full size beds *Two rooms - The extra room was just that, extra! My oldest took possession of it immediately, teens and their lonesome tendencies. He had his own dresser mirror which my daughter didn’t care her brother didn’t want her in “his room”, she made a caramel mess in there. I was thankful she was nowhere near me with them sticky fingers. The good outside: *Plenty of parking & fully gated *Playground *Garden *Mural Flaws: *Door Locks, they are the simple push button from the inside. We spent two nights here, and were gone all day. Our rooms were made when we returned and nothing was missing. *No heat or air conditioning. It was fine for us we got lucky it wasn’t that cold and they do provide extra blankets. Not the soft san marcos blankets but the wool kind. I personally like wool. I don’t know how hot it gets during the summer, I lived in Jalisco and we didn’t need it, it was always way cold at night during the summer, but I’m cold here in Texas too. I am not the best for advice on the matter of hot and cold. Enter at your own risk.
