This hotel is excellent. I traveled with my mom and two aunts there and it was a really nice experience. The staff was always very kind, the breakfast options were EXCELLENT and they had free parking for the car, which was a very nice extra. They do have a small rooftop pool that I didn't have the time to use but it looked pretty nice!! We were very comfortable all in all, and the huge walk-in shower in the bathrooms was also a nice touch.

The Quinta Lolita is a real highlight! The central location is perfect - all sights, restaurants and shops are within easy reach. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, so you feel welcome from the first minute. The rooms are not only cozy and modern, but also absolutely well thought out. There really is nothing missing - from practical details to lovely extras like beach towels, everything is there. The atmosphere in the hotel is wonderfully warm and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. This hotel is a little paradise for everyone who appreciates style, comfort and warmth. We loved everything about the hotel! All of the amazing staff exceeded our expectations with their service. The Christmas decor and decorative accents were classy and beautiful. It was quiet, clean and well located. Great beds, pool and food!

The hotel is located three blocks from the center of town, very close to the beach. The design is fantastic; the staff are professional and attentive. The room was a spacious one-bedroom flat equipped with everything needed for a week's stay. The owner was accessible to any special request and went above and beyond to make the most of my stay and explore the hidden gems near the area

What Guests Said About El Centenario:

The spaciousness of the house and the comfortable seating...

The spaciousness of the house and the comfortable seating were probably the two best things about the place. The house is approximately 20 minute drive into town so you definitely need a car as busses are very infrequent to this area. There are really no attractions or interesting places to see in El Centenario. There are a few nice local restaurants within walking distance of the house. The reason we booked this house which was not a convenient location was because it was advertised as “steps to the beach” however, it is not a beach you can swim at let alone really enjoy walking along. There is a thick, wide amount of sludge, seaweed and bird poop that created a horrible smell and it was definitely not a swimming beach. We felt we were mislead by the description. Photos of the beach are below. We were also advised one week before arriving that if we used up the water then we would have to pay to have it refilled. We were 3 adults staying for 10 days so we were very stressed out about conserving water, even boiling our water for dishes because to wait for the tap water to heat up would waste a lot of water. The house is designed to accommodate 4 people however there are only 2 outdoor seats and a tiny little table so having a meal outside was not an option. Driving onto the property posed a challenge every time as there was a 2” piece of rebar sticking out of the concrete so we had to be sure to avoid puncturing a tire each time we entered and exited the property. I would not recommend this property
