United KingdomAbsolutely stunning Villa in a beautiful location. The Villa is really big and the garden is spacious and quiet with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a covered driveway. It's located in the Amares development in Xpu Ha which is huge and only a few houses are finished. There are smart Tv's in both bedrooms and a huge one in the lounge. Wifi is super fast. Hot water and showers all perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, microwave and a kettle! (1st kettle found in Mexico!) The bed is huge and comfortable with great pillows bedding and extra blankets supplied which are fluffy and smelled gorgeous! The host/owner Ana was super fast to reply to messages and allowed us early check in and spot on instructions for access and location. Honestly, we loved the villa and would move there if we could! 😁

United StatesThe hotel and property were terrific; they were among the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms were excellent and well, and the staff aimed to please. The food was out of this world. The buffet was one of the best I have ever been to. From the fresh fish daily to the fresh tacos.

This hotel is not for families, it was way to much noise all...
This hotel is not for families, it was way to much noise all night long drunk people scream in the hallways , our door was nock at 1-3 in the morning woke up our children age 2y, 6y, 8y. The staff were so helpless, unfriendly and rude. Every time we had to eat was so stressful cause the waiters will be so mad and we will ask for things like water they will take for ever to give to us. It was a buffe every time but water wasn’t available or even a spoon. They drop drinks next to ur table they didn’t clean it the whole breakfast we were there, i was so afraid any of us will fall down. Front Thea people never knew the answer. Overall we were so disappointed. It feel like a super cheap hotel, full of a lot of drunk people. I read bad reviews and didn’t payed attention but I wish I did. I’m not happy at all with this hotel experience and I’m not planing to eve go back. The ocean was the only thing was good about our trip.

The beach is public, therefore a bit too many people (especially on weekends). Though not sure if you can find a more private one next to a hotel.
Not much for walking as well, only max 2 miles of the beach, after that rocks.

I book to stay at BARCELO BEACH and I was moved to another hotel.
I am Vegetarian I took a vegetarian option at the dinner buffet, but it had meat inside. I ate this food and then I was sick. This is unacceptable and I want to be compensated.

The hotel is beautiful, they have nicely decorated garden, restaurant, parking. Every tent has it’s own terrace. Very quiet and lovely. Beds in our Lodge were wide and comfortable. Every room has air conditioning. Breakfast was lovely.

The facilities, beach, and people were excellent. We had a problem with a super noisy neighbour, and they solved it quickly and professionally. The rooms were clean and service-friendly. excellent hotel.

Booking charged me over 16000 pesos if i had gone straight to th hotel it would have cost 11,070. I will not trust booking.com again.
