The host was really nice, the hotel was affordable and in great location to walk to local food markets. The AC and fan get the room cold and have plenty of hot water. The hotel has a great view of MAHA tower.

The concept of having a pool surrounded by rooms is really nice. The atmosphere is so cozy and relax. There was live music at the pool side on Friday and Saturday night, and it felt so good staying at the pool side enjoying the music. And it felt so nice to do some night swimming at the pool under such nice atmosphere.
The hotel breakfast is quite good, but i feel that it could be improved to be better. We stayed three nights, and the main breakfast food was either nasi lemak + fried rice or chicken rice + fried noodle. Other than those, there were sausage, baked bean, bread, salad, fruits, which were same for every day.

Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

Kuah was nice, the locals were very friendly and we found some restaurants that served great food, however, our accommodation could have been better. There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

Many things to do: Geoparks, mangrove river tour, wildlife, Maha Tower, beautiful beaches and sunsets, cable cars and sky bridge, island hopping on speed boats, as well as delicious Malay, international cuisine and seafoods. Easy to drive around and rental car was relatively cheap.

A boring town, and very unattractive.
A boring town, and very unattractive. Just useful to be close to the ferry for the mainland. The money exchange office at the pier is a rip off; go into town to the money exchange there.
The tourist office at the pier is very helpful though.

Great city to see and explore. The whole Island of Langkawi can be driven around so if you like a build up city Kuah is ideal to stay in. Close to the port and many choices for a good meal and exploring a night market.

The property is a way out of town, it was clean and the surrounding mountains give it some serenity.
The staff are lovely and I was able to have a late checkout due to my flight being delayed, there was a cost to this though.
The only dislikes would be that the toilet didn’t work properly, there was no hot water for a shower and the air con was a bit noisy, there is also no where to get food but Grab eats do came to the hotel.
