My heavens! What a gem of a place. We were impressed with the solitude and beauty of this working farm. We were lucky to arrive after the successful rains filled the lake, creating such a calm mood, especially at sunset and sunrise. Each chalet is placed for privacy. The design is simple yet very interesting with warm touches. We slept like babes in the quiet with super comfortable beds. The family was lovely and attentive to our comfort, building a fire in the evening for the hot water tank and sharing the history of this unique spot. The dogs came at no cost🌺 as did the cattle.
