It was wonderfully refurbished with a great taste and effort but it has an interesting story as well, being the place where Mr. Pincoff had his office and his vault. EVERYTHING and Beyond! We left our heart at Hippe, we were lucky and got both rooms, one for us and one for our daughters. Everything there is Perfect, the look, the parfum Natahsha has in each room….everything is sparkling clean. Nathasha is one pf the most adorable person we have ever met! Hippe is a little piece of heaven in Ambacht.

The hotel is 30 mins from Rotterdam Centraal by metro+walking, in an area with new modern buildings, almost outside the city, near a huge parking that serves probably Ahoy hall. There is a huge park, too, we didn't have time to explore. A Lidl is a couple minutes walk away from the hotel. The hotel has a very pleasant restaurant with a simple menu, but so well done dishes. We loved the salmon and the tortellini soup. The decorations in the rooms and halfway are really something I've never seen before Definitely quirky. The bed is comfortable. we definitely slept very well. Soundproof was good. Strangely this Ibis was also the cheapest we booked in the Nederlands. Most probably because it is new. Very effective staff at the reception and in the restaurant.
