Loved the luxury of the room, very very clean. Breakfast was very good too. Bathroom had everything we needed. The temperature of the room was also very comfortable and adaptable which was nice. We would for sure recommend this hotel.

"When you're here, you're family" is what it feels like to stay here for me. There's the flexibility with breakfast and the personal attention, should you want or need it. I think my favorite thing is to sleep with the windows open and hear the old church bells chime the hour and half-hour. The ferry is a few minutes away by foot and the train station, a short, scenic walk.

The location was great, right by the Waal. And the rooms were cool--very much appreciated in a heatwave. We had our own terrace which was also very welcome. Appreciate that it is run by a stichting.

Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem.

Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem. Roads were narrow thru the country area and sometimes uphill and downhill. Laahavvvvv it!!!..it was a rainy/stormy weather and it just made me reminisce of the countryside were I grew from. The view and vibe was amazing. Still plan to go back and take the backroads to explore again.

It's fun to take the Riveer ferry to Woudrichem, Fort Vuren,...

It's fun to take the Riveer ferry to Woudrichem, Fort Vuren, or Loevestijn Castle. With or without a bike, you can do both. You can also explore the fortress on foot and then head into town. There are plenty of terraces and restaurants in the heart of the town.

A really nice town, small-scale, giving it a cozy feel.

A really nice town, small-scale, giving it a cozy feel. A lovely square with delicious and charming eateries around the fountain. The atmosphere is great. I did an escape puzzle through the city through Escape Tours, which takes you to all sorts of fun spots and gives you an even better view of the city. Gorinchem is highly recommended. But not for a long time, as it's a small town.

A nice hotel, nice staff, TV malfunction and dusty behind the TV, lots of dust, not from a few days at breakfast... fruit was already gone at 9.15, could not be made more, strange for such a large hotel

Gorinchem has nice shops, lots of nice restaurants and cafes...

Gorinchem has nice shops, lots of nice restaurants and cafes, in the summer lots of yachts in the center, nice on the river Merweden with a beach, you can also cycle there or take the ferry to Woudrichem, lots of nice possibilities.

A beautiful city with unexpectedly beautiful facades. Many charming and unique shops. Fortunately, the standard large chain stores didn't stand out. The city guide showed us the city's unique features and shared fascinating stories.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. What a beautifully designed, well appointed apartment on the Langendijk. A beautiful shopping street in central Gorinchem. Self catering, close to supermarkets, cafes, hairdressers and the Grote Markt. This area is a picturesque perfect area of the Netherlands. Take bikes and ferries to Sleewijk, Woudrichem, Fort Vuren. A must see. Cruise ships berth in Gorinchem, so sometimes a little busy. Visit Museum Hamel House. History between Holland and Korea. 6euros entry!!!!!

Very fancy hotel. Good value for money. Nice resturant allthough a little in the high end, but very good food and nice staff. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom very nice. The location is close to the highway so it is easy to find.
