The historic feel of the property was so charming. The restaurant and terrace were absolutely beautiful and we could have spent all day there- the staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was simple but high quality and super clean! Loved the Rituals bath products- gave a real luxury vibe.

We found the hotel easily and directions on site were clear. We were able to park easily in the large car park. The check in process was straightforward with a friendly helpful receptionist. We found our room easily, It was clean and welcoming. We especially liked being able to open a window. The bathroom was similarly clean and more spacious than we were expecting. It was good to be able to freshen up with a shower after a long drive. The supplied bathroom products were lovely. Drinks in the bar and a super evening meal were served by friendly staff. We had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed then made a leisurely start to the day. An excellent breakfast with hot food which really was hot (not always the case with buffet breakfasts). Checkout was easily accomplished with no problems and we got out of the car park without difficulty (again, not always the case elsewhere).

I loved how dog-friendly they were. A lot of times it‘s said but once there does not feel that way at all.
The staff embraced our pup and made us feel like guests and not an inconvenience:)

Stunning town with plenty of unspoilt architecture and an amazing selection of shops, bars and restaurants. We were there on Friday with a huge street market. The cheese shops were a highlight for us.

Zwolle is a lovely vibrant friendly town, full of great bars, restaurants and shops and undoubtedly one of the best ice cream parlours I have ever visited. There are so many great spots, so much to do and it's so chilled.

Beautiful city.
Beautiful city.
Excellent museum of modern art, de Fundatie.
Beautiful bookstore inside an old church.
The best cake and chocolates in the Netherlands at Bakkerij Lindeboom. Try my three favourites: Dark chocolate filled with 5-spice, dark chocolate with cardamom filling, and the milk chocolate filled with caramel and sea salt. Try the others too. Many are prize winning chocolates.

I had only the time to visit quickly the city center for a dinner. I was raining so we could not appreciate very much, but I am sure that the hystorical part of the city, for what I could have seen, is very interesting and charming. I'll try to visit it again in the future.
We loved this place. It's rare to find a hotel like this these days, which has so much of its own character. The building is extremely quirky and feels very grand, even though the hotel is not that big. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms we had were large and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is situated on a pleasant side street an easy, short walk away from the centre of Zwolle. The bar drinks menu is really breathtaking and very reasonably priced for what is on offer. Its worthwhile taking a look!
The host was a fantasticly nice lady!!! My friend and I had a lovely time there! The host offered to pick us up at the train station, even I was able to let her know only one hour ahead. She made the house clean and cozy, provided great breakfast and even was willing to drive us to Giethoorn and picked us up there after our journey! If I go back to Zwolle again, I defintely will stay at Westenholte B&B again! And I will recommend the place to all my friends!
Was located in the beautiful old part of Zwolle, and only an 8 minute walk to train station so very easy to get around on foot which suited us. Decor of apartment very funky and large comfortable bed.
If you are a couple in Zwolle to party and eat out for a weekend, then it would be fine but not for a longer stay to visit the town.
The hotel is just two minutes walk fro Zwolle Centraal, and close ten minutes walk to the town centre. The young chap who checked me in provided excellent customer service. The room I was provided was very clean, warm, medium-seized and the bed was comfortable. I like everything about the room.
