The location is perfection! Being so near to the waterfall is like a dream! The cabins and camping are far enough separated that the loads of tourist buses that come through weren’t an issue. The staff was very helpful in giving tips on where to go and what to do. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Perfect, lovey staff, beautiful views, calm and peaceful,...

Perfect, lovey staff, beautiful views, calm and peaceful, you can feel extremely close to nature. The drive there isn't a lot of kilometres but due to the road you must drive slow which is an advantage beacuse the views are absolutely breathtaking. The only thing me and my partner regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Incredibly beautiful nature - the weather changes quickly from rain to sun. Ideal area for hiking. A little pocket of time. Hospitable and helpful staff. Norwegian charm surrounded by tranquility. Good place for socializing, playing cards and having fun. Luxury that the train stops at the small stations/stops.

We would have loved to stay longer; even the drive through the valley on the adventurous road (partly single-lane) revealed some beautiful spots, many opportunities for hikes through the valley and up the mountains, water sports (rafting, canoeing) are possible, and the nature is indescribably Norwegian... ;)
