Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions. It was a difficult road journey in a Luxury Coach journey from Kathamandu which took 11 hours to travel 200km due to extremely poor road conditions and traffic jams. It's a beautiful, peaceful city with pleasant weather and stunning natural surroundings. We explored the lake area and nearby spots – truly relaxing. Pokhara was nice and touristy, it had a lot of shops and restaurants and everything was a walking distance in the lakeside area. For souvenirs and purchases, it is considered a bit more expensive than Kathmandu. Pokhara is a beautiful place and though it is a stop for many trekkers who are going for different treks, the city has alot to offer. The Phewa lake boat ride, the Basundhara park, the Gurkha memorial museum and the marketplace are some fun things to do when in Pokhara. Hotel is located in an easy to access area of Pokhara with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. This hotel was only opened about 6 months ago and still is very clean and new.
