This place is incredible. The location is wonderful...an easy walk to the main plaza and the boat dock and you can hear the lake lapping the shore at night. Super cozy and super clean. The hosts Beatriz y Oswaldo are extremely kind and welcoming. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

An amazing and unforgettable experience. Mario and Julia were the best hosts. They showed us all over the island, answered all questions in detail and are just one of the nicest people we have ever met around the world. The island is a magical place, rarely any disturbing noises, just nature and an tranquil lifestyle. The nature is absolutely stunning. If you come to the island make sure to stay at least 1, better 2 or more nights to fully discover the island and to give your mind and soul a proper reset! Rooms were very comfy with 24h electricity and in our case a hot shared shower. You can eat lunch at the local community restaurant and Julia will make breakfast and dinner for a very reasonable price. Local crafts can be bought directly from them or from other families at the main square. These products can not be found in any other place! Just make sure to bring enough cash as there is no ATM on the island and only one little store accepts card payment. If you are in Peru or in Bolivia make sure to spend at least 2 nights here, you will not regret it!

Featuring garden views, "Casa de Valentin" in Llachon features accommodations, a private beach area, and a garden.

Hands down the best place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Mariluz and Henry are sweet, hospitable, and highly accommodating hosts! Their home is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. You need not worry about looking for a place to eat either as Mariluz can make you lunch and dinner everyday, for a very good price. I loved the meals! My room had an amazing view of Lake Titicaca. Absolutely, a relaxing oasis. The place is located near the pachamama and pachatata trails. If you want to come to this wonderful island, you should pay for the full day Uros and Amantani tour. To return to Puno, you can take a local boat and then a couple of collectivos back (about 23 soles) to Puno. Check with Henry about the times. Also, I learned a lot about the Amantani culture during my stay. I ended up buying some souvenirs and beanies that Mariluz herself made. Amazingly talented and resourceful family. I had a great time.

Once you find Edwin's house, you may never want to leave! It can be a little to trick to find at first but once you arrive you realize that it's an awesome location. He does have Starlink wifi at the house so if you are on the right side of the island with phone service you can call for directions, although he will usually contact you before you arrive on the island. My room was clean and comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep you warm at night. Edwin provided a great breakfast and dinner every day and it was a good chance to meet other guests. There are so many beautiful walks you can take from the house, you can watch the sunset from the main walkway just behind the house, and you don't even need to leave the house to watch the sunrise. If you're lucky enough to be there on a clear night like I was, the stars are amazing and you can see the milky way with your own eyes. Edwin and his wife are great hosts, and this is definitely a place I would go back to in the future. Most tourists visit Taquile just on a day trip, others stay one night. Don't make that mistake. I booked two nights but ended up staying for 6 nights! Also, remember to travel light! You will regret carrying a full backpack around the island at almost 4000M.

Featuring a garden, Amantani Elisa's Lodge is located in Amantani. Guests can enjoy garden views. At the inn, each room is equipped with a patio with a lake view.

Casa de Primo provides beachfront accommodations in Puno. During your time at this recently renovated country house, dating back to 2025, you'll have access to free Wifi.

Welcoming and helpful owners. They were available before our arrival in Llachon to answer questions, met us in the plaza to help with luggage, cooked breakfast to order every morning and shared their culture and traditions. Don Primo has been hosting visitors for 20 years. Hector was always available. The casita was beautifully designed. The view of the lake from both inside and outside on the private deck was fantastic. A truly unique experience.
