Location!! Just above the gorgeous water. No beach, but there is a comfortable covered floating place to sit, with a nice breeze. Beth, the manager, and her husband. Very helpful, flexible, and friendly. She always helped with everything! GREAT snorkeling!! Brief boat ride to another island. Coral and fish were some of the best we’ve seen even in other countries. Much better than around El Nido. We snorkeled several hours every day. Loved!! the larger “ cabin” just beyond the A- frame thatch units. It has its on covered balcony and more room inside than the other units. More expensive, but still very affordable for the space and seating area, to watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this property but I ended up really liking my stay, and staying on campus more than I thought, even though I rented a scooter to explore. This is a quiet alternative to the backpacking Coron crowd, although it looks as though it could have several bars and a happening pool area/bar. Room was super clean. Bed was okay, not great…but I booked the place for its value. An older AC unit which blocked out some early morning bird chirping. No cats, chickens, or dogs on premise that I noticed…kinda different for the Philippines.

From the moment my husband and I entered the property the staff has been very accommodating to our needs. The room is clean, spacious and has all the amenities we need. Not many hotels in Coron have a mini fridge so that was definitely a plus for us. The location is right on the main road and is walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes, and spas. The view from the room is so beautiful and breathtaking. They have in room massage, laundry service, and room service. My family is already planning on returning next year. Thank Casa Mario's for making our stay delightful!!

Staff is wonderful, respectful and truly cares. It’s very quiet and away from the noisy crowd but easily accessible through etrike.

Location, rooftop was great the end of the day. The staff were all very friendly. I liked dryer rack provided for our bathing suites. The breakfast provided at the hotel in the morning was good if you are leaving early. Not a lot of options but convenient. They don’t accept credit/debit cards but this was not clarified at anytime during the stay. So we booked a lot of tours and at the end of the stay were surprised we couldn’t charge the card. The maximum withdrawal for the ATM is PHP20,000 so if your charges are more than that, you have to find a way to get cash. Better to pay cash daily. We sorted it out but got a little stressed. Good thing we found out the night before and had time to go to the ATM before our flight. The next day they offered other payment options that had huge transaction charges. So we paid in cash. They comped our ride to the airport and apologized which was good service recovery.

This was a dream vacation for us so we were hoping no bad experiences, we're glad we chose this hotel as our first stop. We felt very welcome and service was great. The staff (Chelo, Jonah and others...) went beyond regular service and are very friendly always happy to help. Food tasted great also, simple and satisfying. The pool was a bonus place to relax after touring the area.
