Featuring an outdoor pool, Liquid Dove Resort is located in Dauin, 7.8 mi from Dumaguete. The staff at this resort were simply amazing. One staff member went home to her own garden to pick me some aloe Vera for my sunburn. The cottage that I stayed in was so cute and right on the seaside. I organized a dive trip through them and the guide was helpful and kind. It was also the most comfortable bed that I have stayed in so far in the Philippines!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really good especially the taco salad. The staff went to every effort to make our stay pleasant. The beach was clean and practically unpopulated. You could walk along way before bumping into anybody. The pool was clean and well cared for. The resort was being as “green” as possible. There were no plastic straws, cloth napkins in the restaurant and refillable water jugs in the room rather than single use plastic bottles

Its a provincial area but there's no tricyle available in the area nearby, that you have to walk that far so you can buy food, drinks etc.You should put up stores/restaurant in the place, so that more tourists like me would love to stay in the area.
Checking in Darphin's Guesthouse was an excellent decision. The owners suggested places to go. Dauin's beaches are excellent spots for snorkelling. The were variety of fishes we even saw a stonefish. (be careful ). There was a "City of Corals" because there were lots of corals in different sizes, colors and kindss. ( PLEASE DON'T FEED THE FISH, YOU DON'T HAVE THEY ARE ON SHALLOW AREAS.) We saw waterfalls and hot springs. We pay for entrance fee on one place but the other one was totally free and NO people at all. We also passed by a volcano and saw the sulfuric gas coming out from it. Dauin is a highly recommended place to visit, please just take good care of the environment and not abuse it.
I used to live here. So I may be a little biased, but I love Dauin. It's a central hub for all things in the Visayas region: Apo Island, Siquijor, transportation to Dumaguete and Cebu, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc. The people are wonderful, and there are even a couple extra hangout spots after a long day of being away from the hotel room. Please stop at the market to try filipino delicacies and foods. It's a necessary experience. Shot out to Rosalinda restaurant next to El Dorado. The food there is great!
I was skeptical in visiting Dauin but its just very nice and exquisite. I literally fell in love with APO Island.. I will definitely go back there - truly a natural sanctuary - very in touch with the nature ☺️
Beautiful resort, very clean, great pool, staff very helpful and great food. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this resort. Only one thing, it is a long way from the town centre, you have to have transport, but that isn't a problem.
We enjoyed daunin it was a vary nice place we were lucky enough to be there when the festivals we're going on and enjoy the music and the dancing and the market vary friendly people everywhere we went
We had an amazing stay here. Mr. Bong was really welcoming and so kind. The place itself is really new and super clean, best room we have had in the Philippines. Mr. Bong reminded us of a caring parent during our stay always making sure we were treated fairly by everyone around and knowing where to find what. Everything was available, from a nice bathroom and shower to beach towels and an umbrella was even handed to us when it rained.
The place was overall amazing and exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully crafted and complete with necessary amenities. The staff was welcoming and warm, and the drinks they offered were very affordable. Plus points for free wifi. Wished they had food but nevertheless, there are some food places nearby (They even offer delivery to Bongo Bongo). Walking distance to the beach.
The place was simple, but offers a lot in terms of diving and recreational activities. It’s bungalows and cottages were clean. I especially loved their air-conditioned room which had a its own private bathroom. I can say that they keep the place clean and well maintained. The beachfront was also the best. All in all it was a great stay at an affordable price.
Nice ambiance, quiet at the dorm room. Near to small eateries and walking distance to the beach. They also have fun activities. Nice staff! Highly recommended!
the hotel is super pretty but they really should do something with the deferred maintenance. the bed is good. the room was quite clean.
