Manila is everything that Singapore is not. Chaotic, congested, overcrowded , poor infrastructure and not spotless. Yet it has its own charm, it's people. My first trip to Manila I would recommend a visit to this city, it is very busy and I do advise you have some one that can speak the launage to assist, if you fly into Manila if you need a taxi either a Grab or get your own taxi other wise you will pay more that you should. The location is good because it’s closer to mall , groceries, market and convenient for taxi transport, but my experience to the accommodation/studio flat I rented is not good due to cleanliness is poor- lots of cockroaches roaming around the place, facilities is not good, and my family are not really comfortable in staying on that place I rented . Taxi price was agreed on and then he changed his mind after we got down the road. He told us to get out of his taxi or pay the extra. Really bad. Looks cleaner and less traffic now a days. The place we stayed can easily access to other places because of the bus routes. We were looking for Nono restaurant but nowhere near so we ended up in the restaurants within the building which is quite reasonable. We visited Baclaran and MOA wishing to visit other places next time.
