Peña's Palalace Mayagüez features air-conditioned rooms in Mayaguez. This property offers both free WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything I was looking for in a stay - awesome bathroom (hooray for good water pressure), comfy bed, safe parking and hospitable owners! The place is its own little unit with a little kitchen and table and a mini balcony. Felt like I had my own little home in the mountains!
Boulevard 102 is located in Mayaguez. The air-conditioned accommodations is 15 mi from Rincon, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. The check in was really easy to handle. I didnt found the right entrance at the beginning but when i called, someone picked up immediatly and gave me the right instructions. The appartment is 850m away from the main plaza. You have everything inside (kitchen, wifi, washmachine) and also a free parking spot in front of the building !
Great thing about this hotel is the location. Centrally located in the main town or pueblo. You have many dining options within walking distance to the hotel. Staff was super friendly. Nice place to stay in.
The hotel’s location is great, is clean and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately they did not have hot water and the booking advise breakfast was included which was not the case when we arrived to the hotel.
This hotel needs a major renovation, it is so outdated it looks dirty. The rooms are horrible with a really bad smell, carpets with mold, broken curtains, broken beds, the bathroom is disgustingly old with moldy sinks and bathtub they don’t work properly all together we were vey disappointed with our stay and mostly with the price so not worth the 245$ per night plus taxes we paid.
Mayaguez is a good location to access different places in the western part of the island. However, as it has become the thoroughfare between the most popular areas in the northwest (Aguadilla, Rincon) and southwest (Cabo Rojo), traffic has become very difficult even at late hours. There are dozens of traffic lights and not easy alternative routes, especially if you are not local. If you are visiting during a holiday weekend and you are visiting just one town, like Rincon or Cabo Rojo, look for options within that town. The upside is that rates in Mayaguez were less than half than the popular beach towns.
Mayaguez is a university city with amenities typical of a college town. There are many restaurants, pubs, and stores around the city to get any article you may need. It is tranquil and safe to walk. There are several nice surfing beaches 30 minutes away and great beautiful beaches 40 minutes away.
Lots of history and pleasant folk hanging out in Plaza Colon downtown. Young and old grouping for expression of the age old gridlock tween freedom of individual and government's yolk -- a mission statement. We loved these folk and especially that cool cat sipping Cuttysark @ Cannabes, our fav local "Fernando." Can you hear the bells, Fernando?
Habitación, restaurante, áreas comunes y piscina espectacular. Recomendado 100% para estadía familiar!
