Facilities are great for myself and two boys. Playroom is great with table tennis, pool table, fusbal table, chess and relaxing area. Swimming pool if your brave in winter. Boys made the most of the tennis court playing football tennis. The gym is ok for our needs kept the boys fitness as they here for U9s football tournament. The breakfast is great also. A short walk to the spar supermarket. Train station just down the hill so very convenient for us. The staff are all so helpful, nothing is too difficult for them. We felt very much at home. Overall a great stay. Thank you

Super stylish and thought-through (you get personalised tooth brushes!!!). Very clean, quiet.close to the beach, 10 minutes walk from Cascais. The room was pretty small, but we had a terrace, and most incredible- a shared space in the back yard, wish dishes where we could bring, heat and eat our own food (from a restaurant for example). Like a private bar or breakfast place!!!

Everything was perfect! At the hotel you have anything you need,the location is perfect, near the bus & train station.The view from our room was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Enjoyed staying there!Highly recommended.

This boutique hotel is family owned, and the family is there most everyday, they take an active involvement in all of the affairs to provide a personal touch and ensure the highest quality. I really enjoyed meeting them and learning more about the area and the hotel itself. The owner provided excellent restaurant recommendations, we talked cars, and his son Francisco, the Guest Relations manager, provided an excellent trip idea for a drive up into the mountains of Sintra and Colares. They provided a bottle of water on check-in, a personal greeting card with chocolates in the room, and a note on the day of checkout. The bar tenders were great, especially the man who runs the bar at night. We had good conversations and he made good drinks. The hotel has excellent modern amenities, comfortable beds, and a fast internet connection that is good enough for streaming, video calls, or gaming (at least during the off season when I was there). This hotel also has an iron and ironing board in the room! Many hotels in Portugal I've stayed at lack these so you're waiting on housekeeping's hours to access them, and some have had neither, leaving you with wrinkled clothes. This is definitely a big plus from me as I like to press the wrinkles out of my clothes after traveling. The pool is very nice, with great views of the buildings around it while still feeling secluded. Location wise, it's about perfect. A short walk from the main waterfront, train stop, and beach, but being off the main road, not busy and noisy at all hours like that tends to be. I hope to return in the future, this place is excellent.

We loved everything, it’s an old style hotel beautifully decorated. If in a wheelchair it’s challenging but the concierge staff were always there to help!!

Great location and friendly staff.

Very central hotel. We arrived very early morning and they allowed us to store our luggage and use the bathroom. We were also able to check in earlier. Our family room was upgraded to luxury family room. The staff were excellent and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was fantastic with views to die for. Although there are restaurants around, once the windows were closed we could not hear a thing. The aircon worked well. Room spacious, beds excellent and the balcony was a bonus. Breakfast excellent and all we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Pity we could only stay one night. See you again!

The view over Cascais is magnificent and the location is perfect

Artsy Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel where the attention to details was impeccable: the valet parking service, the complimentary evening room service, the personalised book sign I received because I had a book on the bedside table, very helpful staff that helped us organise everything we wanted, very tasty breakfast, extremely comfortable bed (we couldn't wait to come back to the room in the evening!) and unbeatable location, all this details make us dream of coming back on day.

We stayed at Pestana in May for our wedding. It was SUCH an amazing stay in all aspects thanks to the wonderful staff of Pestana! It is a 5 star hotel, but the staff is so down to earth and of course really professional. The room we had booked had some issues with humidity - but this was sorted with no issues and we were upgraded to the presidential suite since it was our wedding! Thanks so much to manager Igor Almeida for an incredible service! The whole Pestana team were so amazing, thanks a lot to Sara Pinto, Sofia Francia, Estela Soares, Hasam and Carlos Silva, for their great service and smile. They were always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They also gave us useful information about the hotel and the area, and they were always ready to assist us with anything we needed. We also want to thank Antonio Aguilar, who always helped us with the luggage, and questions we had about hotel locations and any other request. He had a good attitude and a smile all the time. He was polite, cheerful, and efficient, and he made us feel at home. He also gave us some tips on how to get around the hotel, the marina behind the hotel and what to see and do. The breakfast was AMAZING! The food outstanding, and they even have sparkling wine every day - really calming for our wedding day;) Amazing staff there too of course - so attentive and friendly. In conclusion, we had a wonderful and unforgettable stay at Hotel Pestana Cidadela Cascais, and we highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality hotel with a great staff. We want to thank all the staff for their excellent work and support, for make us feel like home and special every day, for making our guests and friends feel welcomed and for playing and excellent role in our weeding plan.
