Quiet place in the mountains.

Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. Sea view from the room is amazing, there is balcony. Everything is clean, there are warm blankets in the wardrobe. Breakfast is good, you have a choice. Location is very good, nice small village, please don’t hesitate to feed stray animals you can buy pet food in the local supermarket nearby.

It was a big room, spacious and very clean. The breakfast was included. The staff were cooperative. We also managed to find parking.

This is a very nice structure, pretty new, with large common spaces, a nice swimming pool and a very nice external area. The breakfast room is equipped for large numbers, but the level of the food is of very high quality and variety. The room is large, comfortable, silent, very clean and new.

Everything. Where it was situated, close to the beach, the shops, restaurants. Excellent breakfast and entertainment. Staff were friendly and approachable. Rooms were large and airy. Beds very comfortable. High standard of cleanliness throughout.

We loved the hotel’s rural setting, high above Funchal, its old world luxury, and the quality of service offered by the staff. Best of all was the direct access to the extraordinary adjacent Palheiro garden. A very special hotel.

It truly set a positive tone for the rest of the day. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. It was conveniently situated near Monte Palace and botanical gardens , making it easy to explore the area without hassle. What stood out the most was the customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any requests. I highly recommend Quinta do Monte to anyone looking for a fantastic stay with great amenities, a prime location, and outstanding service. I can’t wait to visit again!

Nice people running the hotel. Very flexible and replied to all my requests positively, including refund of two nights after having changed the dates even if it was non refundable already. Simple, but clean room. Also, quite spacious. Close to the both beaches. Thanks for the stay!

Put 10 out of 10 because of price vs quality. The hotel is old, but very clean. You even have a special shower to wash your tracking shoes before the entrance. Good restaurants nearby because it is located in the center of Santana. Was in love with the ability of geraniums as they are especially beautiful in Santana region (they normally grow up to a height of 500 meters from the ocean).

Kind employees, the location is nice, near the airport and Funchal as well. Best way to visit them is renting a car. Some complementary fruits, wine and lollypop. :)
