The design details are just incorporated perfectly to represent the history and draw your eye to every little detail. The views were breathtaking! The air clean and just warm enough in the day and in the evening just cool enough. Claudia is a perfect hostess, catering to our every need, answering all our questions and going way out of her way to help us with anything we might need. We will most definitely be back and will bring more friends and family.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony, Casa Máximo is located in Penafiel. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. Not often that you wish you could give somewhere more than 10 stars but Casa Maximo certainly deserves it. Basically faultless. Lovely apparent, spotlessly clean. Staff were all lovely and friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Just perfect. Sadly we were here on Monday so couldn't try the restaurant but if breakfast is anything to go by then this must be very good.
