AlUla offers a little of what Saudi Arabia is like outside major metropolis' like Riyadh and Jeddah. It also offers a delve into the historical Saudi Arabia, ultra luxury in Ashar Valley and Shaaran Nature reserve. Saudi Arabia is one of the friendliest countries in the Middle East, and this is demonstrated with every interaction with AlUla residents, always willing to help. My trips tend to be for business, we do try and take advantage of the hospitality in the evenings when we can. The room was very large. The hotel is located in a beautiful location, far from the town center (about 10/15km) but very beautiful from a naturalistic point of view and far from the chaos of Al Ula.
