Sama is a must stay if you’re ever visiting Dakar! Property is only 4 months old as it recently opened in 2025. The decor is exceptional from the lobby to the rooftop. The property is filled with African art and artifacts. The rooms are modern and have balconies that face the ocean. We even had a chance to meet the owner and he was kind and generous after we wanted to extend our stay. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Dakar.

The hotel is honestly really beautiful and the location that it is is very convenient. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I dont speak french but they were always assisting me with all my needs which made my stay really wholesome.

Staff is professional, friendly, and accommodating. Location is very convenient for activities, restaurants, and nightlife. The onsite restaurant and entertainment are great. Second year in a row I've stayed at Boma and will stay again.

Surprised to find a woodburning pizza oven at the bar on the property. I enjoyed the area of the hotel as it was peaceful, given we were in the city. The staff was friendly, helpful and the owner gave me a ride to an ATM
