The location away from the loud main street yet very close to it. It was always a pleasure to come back to the hotel. The swimming pool is great and with a unique backdrop: the cliff! The staff went over and beyond to help. The ladies at the reception were extraordinary. Breakfast was good and generous. The bed was enormous and comfortable

The staff and the guesthouse's services made our stay memorable and our trip easier! From moto rental to breakfast, laundry service, shuttles and advice on moving around. Everything, starting by the hosts, who are a lovely couple running the place. Any questions about tours, transportation, the room, or anything related to the area, they were always able to assist us and even book for us. Then the loft, I would dare say, was very comfy with AC upstairs and a strong fan downstairs. The bedroom was really big and comfy and I had a nice sleep every night. The bathroom was all good, with a wall between the shower and the toilet, which I now appreciate a lot in southeast Asia. And even though the walls are all exposed concrete, they're really smooth and have nice cooling finish in the hot area. Location wise is great, as we are far away enough from the party, there is a lovely view from the mountains every single morning and it is less than 5 minutes away walking from the main road. The pool is also nice and relaxing to swim in the evening with a great star show. To be honest, it is one of the best places where I get the whole value in money per night.

Super nice property will lovely hosts and employees. The rooms were super nice with extra well equipped kitchen and balcony. The pool just out of the window was the best. Good breakfast. A lot of support from the hosts regarding transportation and any kinds of questions.

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

    It's a perfect outing for holidays, honeymoon or for what ever reasons. Can choose from high end hotels, or budget one. People around are friendly and helpful. Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    Nice facilities, nice spacious rooms, big bathroom, clean, location is convenient, 10-15 min walk to the beach, and plenty of restaurants, shops and beauty salons around, really good breakfast. Staff was so nice, even allowed us to keep luggage in storage room, when we already checked out and left, were switching hotels (going to Railey beach), but Panan Krabi was more convenient to go to airport from, so when we came back to Ao Nang beach, left luggage in Panan Krabi hotel for the whole day.

Comfortable, big, soft-ish beds Aircon cold, very quiet, very easy to regulate and doesn’t point straight at your body, more at your feet Staff excellent, helpful and speak good English Location great, close to night markets, shopping, Kodam kitchen (great food), you can use the gym and pool at Ramadan hotel (for a fee, also close) Would love to come back here, although next time we come to Krabi we probably stay at Railay beach, we preferred it there

    As good as some 3 or 4 star hotels that I’ve stayed in, really the only difference is that you have to pack your own toothbrush! The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and the owner Tin was accommodating and very hospitable. The place is peaceful and quiet yet still located close to the beach and main tourist areas. I’d be happy to recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable and value-for-money base to explore Krabi from.

    Wow! What a hotel! This place is a great hotel to stay if you’re visiting Krabi. It’s peaceful and out of the way of the strip, but also only a 10 minute walk to get there. They also offer free transport to the strip/beach. The staff can’t do enough for you, breakfast was lovely and fresh and the place is very well maintained and clean. A very well run property. Thank you to the team, I’ll be back when I next visit Krabi!

    Great location close to beach, nice big rooms, you get also beach towels and beach bag in room, pool area is nice and quiet. In lobby you can buy drinks and snack at good price,breakfast is basic but good. Staff is very nice and we would visit again. Family restaurant just in front of hotel is must do- for us it was best food in Krabi.. do not worry if you see a lot people waiting it goes so fast 🙃
