Ever check into a place on a multi-stay trip and realize you made a mistake…..because the place is just about ridiculously perfect and you didn’t stay here the whole trip ? Well Sand in My Shoes is that place! Great setting on a stunning beach. Our beach-view room (#9) was huge and incredibly well appointed . Bar and restaurant was great as well - perfect low key get-away boutique hotel that IMO concedes nothing to the Anantara resort next door.

Amazing views, spacious and comfortable rooms. Hosts are incredibly kind, wonderful people who were always willing to help with anything! The road to Ozone Hill is steep, but we walked up and down multiple times over two week stay without any issues. Although there are plenty of choices for restaurants in the village, the food from the Ozone Hill is excellent.

We got dropped off at the wrong side of the hotel by the taxi from pier so we had to walk all through the rocks and wires from the beach, it was a bit crazy getting there and funny thinking back. Upon arriving the staff greeted us warmly, very friendly and delightful as well as attentive. Loved our room which had a private pool, the wooden style is very nice. They occasionally cleaned the room for mosquito’s which we appreciate a lot. My muay thai lessons were very nice, trainer was very helpful and I learned a lot. We got a spa day on our last day, which were amazing, we had a massage and bodu scrub. Everything went smoothly thanks to the great staff who gave us such warm smiles. I get why they call Thailand the land of smiles now!

The resort is on a beautiful beach with an open and idyllic view. The bungalows are simple but charming with a beautiful ceramic tiles private terrace with a sitting area outside The pool and the gardens were maintained daily, and the restaurant serves both delicious Thai and western food all made with love. The service is attentative, staff is kind and friendly to making you feel home. And you certainly will feel home. I loved my stay at Phuwadee and I know where to stay in Koh Phangan from now on.

    Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

    Very clean ocean water. Great wide and long sandy beach. But beware, the sun chairs usually belongs to highend hotels. So you cannot use them. In general, a very nice and high-class beach. Which is also great, is by the ocean taxi boats. From there you can jump on some boat, give the guy a 400-500THB and he will take you to Bottle Beach or Malibu beach (etc). Great hotels like Santhiya is nearby.

    Great location, beach nice sand with sunbeds umbrellas, no need to panic to get one, always available. Gym was good even though the treadmill didn’t work during our stay, very friendly staff, Rong on the beach/ bar service was outstanding excellent. Room modes were good but did keep forgetting things, coffee water, tea light ect she could have been better. All in all excellent stay would return.

    We loved our stay. The couple that run KPP are so welcoming and organised. The place is beautiful and immaculately clean. That infinity pool! The views are amazing. We loved Thong Nai Pan Noi. The beach is perfect, especially in the afternoon when there is some shade. There are lovely brunch spots, restaurants and massage places a short walk away.

    The resort is incredible and the village where it's located is lovely, we loved the beach and the street at night has many options to dine out. It was also very easy to arrange shared transport to/from the hotel and not expensive as some other comments mentioned.

    Great location next to the beach. Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant next to the ocean. Beautiful spot for sunrise. Nice tropical flowers, palms and trees in the whole hotel area. Flowed on the table in the restaurant. Overall good food quality.
